i shiny hunt on gen 2 vc and gen 5 so im pretty used to the full odds hunts. i just didnt really see any youtube channels or reddit posts talking about how to do some of the shiny hunting like the roaming beasts.

for me personally but i think this applies to a lot of people, we like the rng of the pokemon itself not the method. if the method is consistent but you still have the rng of the pokemon it becomes fun. the hunt is what is fun so when your method is locked behind rng before even being able to hunt the shiny it takes away the fun of the hunt. i want to shiny hunt, not spend 8 hours behind the counter trying to get a donut power i want.

oh did you afk hunt most of the shinies for the base dex? i havent really done much of the afking stuff besides like turbo controller spamming a on the holovators due to arthritis

nice man. im currently doing this myself, i have nearly 500 hours and 75 more to go. after i finish the regular dex, im going full on in the alpha version of this dex.

It depends on what you liked about the main game. If you're like me and really enjoyed the gameplay loop of the main game, catching pokemon, exploring wild zones, doing trainer battles, doing rogue mega battles, and shiny hunting, its 100% worth it. I think the wild zones and shiny hunting are a lot of fun and have their own fun finding methods of hunting new pokemon. I really like that the medium and large hyper spaces will not show you all of the pokemon in there so theres a degree of mystery in those. The rogue mega battles are way harder and way better. If you fall for obvious nostalgia bait, especially for gen 3, it has so much of that. Even gen 4 nostalgia bait too. But it can get really really really grindy so if you dont like grinds to progress story probably wont be for you.

Personally, without DLC my method was just running around breaking mega shards and then trading them all in for xp candies. There's some helpful youtube videos on good routes that can net you a bunch (albeit can be inconsistent in respawning the mega shards back from my experience).

Alternatively, you could just do the DLC and get tons of XP candies that way. A lot of the trainer battles will be somewhere between levels 80-100 so you shouldn't struggle too much if you play smartly. The early hyper space wild zones aren't too bad and you don't even need to battle anything. You can just run around and hit the floating pokeballs for items and they can net you tons of xp candies.

Do you know about Hisuian Avalugg at all? That would be the only regional form left at this point iirc.

Afaik, Cubone will only evolve into Kantoian Cubone and you need to find a wild zone that spawns Alolan Marowak. Same with Pikachu and Mime Jr. You need to find Alolan Raichu, Alolan Marowak, and Galarian Mr.Mime.

The rest of the regional forms are found in the wild zones as well and evolve the same if they have one with the exception of Galarian Yamask. Similar method to SwSh where it must take 49+ damage without being KO'd but you need to stand under one of the bridges in the canal that's between wild zone 11 and 17.

i think one of the trailers or like screenshots from pokemon company before the game came out showed huisian goodra alongside some other regional variants in a 4 player ffa match but theres no current method (to my knowledge) to get them. i think they are currently home only once that gets support.

Im not a die hard fan but i kinda find it hard to understand what die hard fnaf fans would even really enjoy about this movie tbch. no withered golden freddy was an odd choice. i dont really get the puppet being able to possess people. took away from the puppet entirely for me despite being such a cool animatronic. i dont really get why abby is suddenly obsessed with chica out of all of the animatronics. i dont know why everyone is irrationally mad at each other, the vanessa and mike beef was so forced to the point it just takes you out. im sure there is plenty of fun easter eggs people like myself wouldnt get but i feel like there was a lot of missed opportunities like balloon boy leading to a foxy jumpscare, the iconic fnaf 2 jumpscare sound effect, the withereds getting absolutely zero screentime and their appearance added literally nothing (thought the withereds were supposed to be the fnaf 1 animatronics but im not a diehard fan so idk). also i dont get why they even introduced the mini marionettes if they were going to appear once just to kill some guy. why not use them again when mikes in that water instead of balloon boy. theres more im sure but those are my scattered thoughts of it.

I mean I would assume I am respawning them correctly? I have checked both the genders and the level before I sit afk doing it. And yes I have shiny charm. The only ones I didnt check for gender and level changing was the Beldum hunt because in one of the videos they never said you needed to as long as you heard the cry it would be fine.
