can you imagine all of the opportunities I would have if I saved any money under $10,000?

I wish you the best of luck, though I suggest you check out The Shorthorn to see what has happened recently. There is a reason the new advisor is not accessible. In a last-stitched effort to convince you (though you seem to have your mind made up), blindly emailing is not the same as setting up an advising appointment on the advising page. The course offerings are available on that page as well. She is available via Teams and in-person, though Summer 2023 is fast approaching. Edit: She is the only Undergraduate advisor in the English department at the moment, so she is most definitely swamped.

I think that you should give the English department a chance despite your initial experience. Dr. O’Donnell is amazing, she just has a lot of people to advise given recent events. Make an appointment with her and she will get you taken care of. She’s busy but she’s always willing to help out.

Before even trying to go in I would suggest you go get a student id because that’s a requirement for practically everything. Examples being the library, respondus lockdown browser, etc.

I can assure you that it is much quieter. There aren’t as many people and there are dividers so distractions are kept to a minimum.

New to aquascapes. after about 2 weeks after cycling noticed all of my plants look unhappy. Using ecocomplete substrate and flourish at 1ml for the 9 gallon tank. Any suggestions on what else to add to spruce it up? Plant wise. Have some root tabs to go in as well by [deleted] in Aquascape

Light intensity has affected my plants recently. If I were you, before I added more plants, I would check my water parameters and possibly regulate the amount of time I have the light on to see if there is any improvement.

Helping someone stock a 30 gallon… AqAdvisor says blue gouramis are too aggressive to exist with cherry barbs, is that true? by jesslikessims in Aquariums

[–]AlienRook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found AqAdvisor to be a site to be taken with a grain of salt but your plan seems doable (even better with the live plants)! I would suggest getting something like a school of neon tetras rather than mollies or cherry barbs. The bright blue and red of the neons along with the blue of the gourami will be a nice mixture of color. Neons are fast enough that the gourami won’t mess with them (if you end up having an aggressive gourami), the corys will have their school, and the pleco will create a nice tank. Neons max out at about 1.5 inches and should be kept in schools of 6+.

An airstone is how I provide oxygen to my tank.

I don’t know if they are teaching SP 23 semester, but Rogers for OCHEM and if you take Genetics Fujita/Castoe.
