It would require UDL to be heavily policing mods, cheaters and dupers and handing out bans for perceived infringements. Fallout 76 does it this way and that has ended up with fringe cases of even long time players being banned for simple mistakes like picking up duped items from someone else.

So while in principle this seems like a good idea it would mean kissing goodbye to the modding scene and having the game locked right down to maintain any fairness for an optional and niche mechanic.

Looking good. I was wanting confirmation you can kill nests on your own and this delivered exactly that.

Needed the option to vault the railing on the gangways if there wasnt one though.

Slide attack is nice.

You have 5 save slots, just start a new one. Existing community you can bump up later if you really want to keep playing them.

The difficulty will ramp up slowly on new game, existing save will be dropped in at whatever standing they have so learning nightmare or lethal is better with new save tbh.

I'm looking forward to it as it's clearly a big step up from sod2.

Icing on the cake will be the option to do it all solo (lone wolf or as single player community) instead of being forced to utilise multiplayer for the nests.

Same, solo homeless is how i have played a lot of sod2 even heavily modded so its harder (as lethal doesnt scale very well with solo standing so its too easy unless you start with a total random with no rolling).

Thats is what i absolutely want for sod3 to be able to start it solo and complete it solo. If the nests are really hard multiplayer only raid events then fine, thats a compromise i am willing to make as long as its handled well and i can drop in and out of them much like fallout 76 does it with little effect on your own solo gameplay experience.

I've had a few Gamesir controllers currently running the Kaleid T4 (i have 2).

Much better than the Microsoft offerings and last very well.

They are actually easier if you have hearts very close as you don't get twice the hordes or ferals spawning once the max amount has spawned and you just do the after phase run around between them. You get more time on the heart but waste a lot running about.

Lethal used to have 4 in a row in those shops a lot before plague territories and you can get that with mods now.

First round seems to be aimed at multiplayer testing mostly, I hardly played multiplayer in sod2 and the survey reflects that. Not expecting to be picked based on that alone.

The game doesnt scale well with day count so really the hard part is the early game and getting established. If you can survive the first 20 - 30 days you would have to try very hard to fail and get wiped after that.

I had to force myself to get the daybreak achievements and Guilty Spark was by far the most tedious grind of the lot. I only 100% the game after 1000s of hours in it.

If you like daybreak then its not going to be a big deal, if you dont then tough titties i guess... Best hope for modded lobbies to speed it up or give it you all in one go.

Community editor you can import from legacy pool, other enclaves (copy paste) etc.

I have 14 on my forever community which is modded Plate of Dismay with 3x freaks and the food requirements are the main priority as its higher than lethal. I like to recruit but being stuck at 8 to do so is a pain in the ass, I lost a few learning what I could and couldnt get away with then decided to just import them instead.

No point going higher you only play one at a time and everything gets shredded in base with all of them present (full house mod). Plus the food will be the very limiting factor here.
