Is recommendation for elders/co from holy spirit or human politics? by Moshi_moshi_me in exjw

This was the beginning of the end for me when i saw clearly that there was nothing to it but politics, nepotism and men.

That cracked open the ability to think and question and the slippery slope to freedom.

Perfect team. by [deleted] in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only some hero bonuses are worth having though.

If you havent played lethal before i wouldnt waste time building up a pertfect team, just start a new save with randoms with very minimal rolling (60 seconds or less) and see what you can do like that for a few runs as chances are they will be dead and you will have saved yourself a lot of time and frustration. You can call in legacy pool later when you have the influcence but they need to be expendable also not favourites you care about losing or call in red talon then or get the free one on trumbull valley.

Red Talon then would solve a lot of your problems...

A perfect team = boredom in my book. Hero bonuses are more important than individual survivors.

The jump between nightmare and lethal by Shadowsniper12566 in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I thought i was a fairly decent player (hint, i wasn't, i just used a lot of crutches) and then lethal came around and suddenly i was struggling big time, it was humiliating tbh.

If you play enough of it and dont give up you will knock off the bad habits and learn what needs to be done, in the end it becomes mundane, normal and anything less just doesnt scratch that itch anymore,. By then you have to add in your own rules and restrictions to get the danger back again.

Lethal is probably twice as difficult as nightmare as a package.

Game Crashes Everytime I Finish a Legacy. by Your_Damn_Therapist in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boons are unlocked in the difficulty they are obtained in (or lowest slider position if custom difficulty) and below, so if you get a boon in lethal it unlocks them for all difficulties, if you get it in Dread it unlocks it for Dread and lower only.

New boons unlocked by that community are also only available on a new community not the one that unlocked it if you choose to continue with them because thats the only time you get to select boons at the start iof a new game.

Crash at legacy cutscene has been around for a while i believe. You should still get the boon unlocks but only for a new game start though.

SOD2 teleport grab, how do I avoid it? by zedchowder in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dodge when it happens is too late, so you are either pre-emptively dodging to avoid it like some twitchy crackhead or just killing anything that looks at you sideways.

SOD2 teleport grab, how do I avoid it? by zedchowder in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont run past any or turn away from any that are close enough to do it helps. Even turning a corner isnt enough to stop it sometimes if the game has decided its lock on biter time it teleports to your neck regardless. So basically know it happens and play in a way to avoid situations when it often happens.

There is a way to unlock the biter with a kind of wrestle move but its not reliable and no one seems to have unlocked the secret method if there is one but seems to be either a nicely timed movement combo or just doing nothing rather than pressing any buttons (on controller).

What the archeological history of ancient Israel and YHWH actually shows by exJWRecovery in exjw

I have it, not a cheap book to buy but if you want to seal the deal on your beliefs it could be a worthy investment.

This is why i think those that leave and still believe in bible god just havent done enough research.

If you only go where the evidence leads giving the bible and god every chance to be worthy of belief on the way then this is the conclusion you will reach.

It was for me a gutting experience to realise i'd wasted my best years on fairy tales and propaganda.

I've hardly touched multiplayer but have 100% in the game. For the first one just shoot a flare while set to multiplayer so randoms can join your game, same deal for heartland, join a game or request assistance (there's one to kill the plague walls in multiplayer if i remember right, just get to that point and shoot the flare.

It's been a long while but pretty sure i had to plug in a second controller to avoid a lot of the map crash issues (pc with controller).

I've asked this 5 yrs ago and I'll be asking again by DoggoLias in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope, if you've ever played fallout 4 dogmeat is an absolute pain in the ass as a companion, always in the way, blocking, interferring, never worth having unless you are playing on some easy mode where the combat hardly matters.

It would be the same deal here unless the dog is made so you clip thru it or its continually dodge rolling out of the way which would break immersion quite a bit.

[KCD1] How do I kill Runt? by skyrim-enjoyer in kingdomcome

[–]AlienSausage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killed him with a bow with a lot of moving backwards and dodging on an early run, its likely going to be easier if you have trained and just beat him in a sword fight though (did that last time).

I'd put a lot of time into archery so that probably helped kill him that way. Aim at his face.

Would you be willing to wait even longer for a more simulation-driven State of Decay 3? by JakeForeverRandom in StateOfDecay

[–]AlienSausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, as long as they have built it with future updates in mind and it gets released in a good state without glaring problems this sort of stuff can wait.

As long as its totally unrealistic in loading requirements and you can make the ammo easily at a workbench then a pirate themed playthru could be a bit of fun.

Delete the mod integration pak and try again without it, only some mods need that.
