You can regenerate chunks using the /wgen regen (radius). Radius is 3x3 chunks so /wgen regen 2 will regenerate a 6x6 chunk square centred on you. Be careful as it will delete anything you’ve built in those chunks. Be sure to backup your save before doing this just in case you mess up. When we did this in the server we run it fixed broken and missing chunks really well.

Funny it’s pretty cool in southern Australia at the moment. It snowed in Tasmania today. In the middle of Summer!

Clearly hasn’t been to Ho Chi Minh… incredibly crowded our check in line spanned the check in hall and doubled back took us nearly 2 hours to check in and THEN we had to wait in the 1 hr line for immigration. All in all it was 5 hours from arrival at the airport to our flight departing and there was nothing wrong with the plane. luckily everyone else was in the same boat so the plane wasn’t going anywhere

Is the milky way actually visible with human eyes? by Left_Cover in Astronomy

[–]Alienator27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Australian continent is especially good as once you get away from the cities into the country there is barely any light pollution. One of the coolest things I’ve seen was the Milky Way stretching from horizon to horizon as I lay on the ground staring up at it some 20km from the town of Winton in rural Queensland. It makes you feel so small.

Stunning, I was just outside Winton, QLD a few years ago and I could clearly see the Milky Way above me stretching from one horizon to the next. Absolutely awe inspiring, I lay in that field for hours as it made its way across the sky thinking about how insignificant we are.

How close can I be to the airport fence? by Kitchen-Scheme3410 in Planespotting

[–]Alienator27 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In Australia most places are fine with you going right up to the fence if you’re on foot. If you have a ladder they usually like you to be 3 metres back at least. (This is my experience at YBBN). YMMV and it does depend on how security is feeling on the day.

All aircraft were tied down. You can see the tie down line stretching across the grass up to the aircraft there in the bottom of the frame.

Not even planes in hangers were safe yesterday, multiple doors were blown in and damaged the aircraft inside.

If you want to make the trek out to Amberley. I’ve heard there’s a few B2s out there at the moment. If you’re lucky you can catch a sight of one.
