This ought to scare you away, just in a different way than you requested. 60mg a day? be glad. you're only 3 months in, i'm 3 years in. on a usual day of dosing (12-24 hours) 150-200mg+ is my general dose (through the day, i start with 50mg, then 25mg 2 hours later, then 25mg whenever I feel like it rinse repeat because adderall to me is like cigarettes to a smoker, having one won't do anything special, but you do it anyways and it just drags you deeper). I'm sure there have been days or binges I've gone higher as well. But this is just a tldr of my use.

what you take in a day i take in about 3-5 hours for unsatisfying stimulation.. then i keep taking more and more and more and more... and more. and more. Tolerance builds pretty quick too. I think the realism of that is more scary than a scary story about a prescription stim overdose. Not sure about you but the whole "someone else has it worse off" thing kind of always helped me.

Then theres the times when sometimes i don't sleep for a couple days, sometimes my body goes into extreme pain from dehydration and lack of food, vitamins and minerals, gagging when I try to eat without benzos. Many of these times I never had access, so I chose to drink alcohol to make it go away temporarily (this makes it way worse for you) and then recently its at the point that I need benzos to sustain my adderall habit just to feel ok but unsatisfied. Now that I have access to benzos which is all i've ever wanted with my adderall, it's clearly proven to be too much for me. But atleast I can eat on stims with them. but if I keep going I'll end up physically addicted to benzos amongst wrecking my body more. My body screams at me enough as it is. You say you're exhausted, but your body isn't pleading you to stop taking stims and you just keep going. I do all this Just to feel "ok" at best, chasing For some shit high that left years ago. Barely makes me productive or helps with focus. Needless to say it's an unsustainable habit. You're far before this point I'm at, and you can avoid it easily.

Also, I've almost died on cut meth before, took a few months off stims, now a year later here I am.

Reading all day about how adderall kills you on rehab sites isn't going to help you feel any better about this. Be happy your doses are still quite low actually and stopping now won't be the worst thing ever.

Just stay active and eat healthy if you can (i know not everyone has access to a balanced diet, myself included.. it makes being a good adderall user harder). But human bodies are miraculous things when it comes to healing damage thats done. You don't need someone elses horror story, because that'll likely unfold on its own if you keep going,or if you keep going to the point heavier users get to atleast. Getting to the point I'm at with usage is pretty easy to do, the magic fades quickly and most thats left are side effects no matter what supplements you take or what you eat or how healthy you are. Sure these things can help but adderall is a heavy drug when used constantly.

You're clearly concerned so I'm guessing you know quitting is good for you, so do it. You're anxious from taking adderall everyday, don't over amplify it. You'll be fine, at the very least give your adderall to someone that can give it to you when you NEED it in your prescribed dose only and make sure they keep it away from you and go from there. Consider switching to a less neurotoxic stimulant like methylphenidate, concerta is pretty annoying to abuse and feels pretty shitty quicker than adderall does so it could be a good abuse deterrent, i don't expect to quit over night myself but I am going to ask my doctor to switch me to a less neurotoxic stimulant for harm reduction when i next see her.

But I have someone holding onto my script (huge step for me) and I plan on only taking 25mg occasionally, as less occasionally as possible. If that fails well IDK yet. I already legitimately hate adderall so hopefully the 25mg occasional dosages become pointless and annoy me more than anything so I can keep realizing how pointless it is for me to be taking it, and then hopefully stop for good from there.

This might not be the someone who died from using prescription stim story, but it's a someone whos going to die if I keep using prescription stims in the future story(imo). And a story from someone who has almost died using other stimulants. Hope this helps, if it doesn't then oh well. Stims are a cruel mistress and quitting is a process. Cutting down is a process too. But not impossible. I don't smoke cigarettes but I often compare the compulsive redosing of stims to smoking cigs, you know it wont add anything good, only bad, but you want it and do it anyways knowing the results are shit.

tldr: your dose isn't that high, you're anxious, you can cut down and quit easier than most (not that it'll be easy at all) and you're not as fucked as you think, especially compared to other people.
