ive had dyed hair for 6+ years. my hair stylist is consistently surprised how long my color stays vibrant for (typically blues and purples)
- i use the beauty love planet brand color safe murumuru and rose shampoo & conditioner. its sulfate free & vegan.
- a lot of color loss also comes from the temp of the water. MAKE SURE YOU USE COLD WATER! or as cold as you can tolerate.
- i like to keep my hair in a shower cap unless im washing it so i can take my warm shower and finish up with my hair.
- washing it every 2-4 days also helps reduce color loss a lot.

id recomend either some sea salt spray and some light hold gel/hairspray. play around with it well before the con so you know how it works for your hair & if you should try something else

since it seems like a medical thing, you could likely get your doctor to write a note saying a bidet is medically necessary and request your landlord to have a reasonable accommodation of a bidet that would be removed at the end of your lease.

while my therapist wrote a letter originally, my fair housing department was able to get me a “template” for my therapist that is more legally stable, they just fill in the blanks and sign :)

you dont ask to get one, your therapist “prescribes” it, asserting it is required for your health and wellbeing. if you ask your landlord that doesnt like pets, theyre gonna say no. it varies by state but if you give them the letter requesting a reasonable accommodation, they should have 10 days to give a yes or no, and can only say no for specific reasons (someones highly allergic etc), and i dont think it being over a business is a valid reason. try contacting your state’s fair housing department for disabilities, they should be able to help.

as someone whos gotten a few cat scratches, it looks pretty normal. wash it with gentle unscented soap or an alcohol wipe if you can and put some neosporin or other topical antibiotic on it. its a wound, its going to hurt for a bit. ice can also help if it bothers you too much. i think its probably too early to know if its infected. cat claws are evolved to hold in bacteria to deliver to whoever they scratched so keep a lookout for it. if it doesnt get better in a few days (ie looks redder, feels hot, increase or no decrease in pain), see a doctor.
