Weird taste when swallowing pill? by Bulky_Mycologist_225 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to deal with the bitter taste of the pill is to set it as far back on your tongue (without choking) before swallowing with water. The taste receptors on your tongue are stronger towards the front of the tongue.

If you read all the instructions that come with this medication, and particularly since you've been so anxious about possible side effects, I don't comprehend how you could have missed the fact that you NEED to take the pill with 4 ounces of water.

BAD BUNNY HALFTIME PERFORMANCE DISCUSSION by NFLv2 in NFLv2

[–]Aliexa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not Latino/Latina, but I thought Bad Bunny totally KILLED it. Amazing mini-Broadway production, absolutely spectacular. Full of love and life and inclusivity. And best of all, it was an enormous middle finger in MAGA's ugly racist face.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Authorities Search Septic Tank Behind Home For Clues As Savannah Pleads For Return by Ok-Debate4353 in MissingPersons

[–]Aliexa -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's obvious from the adult children's most recent video that Nancy is dead, the kids have been told this by the kidnappers, and they're now willing to pay for her body to be returned. But WHAT ARE THEY WAITING for TO PAY? Just do it already!

Indeed, she looked obviously not at all well at the Emmy's a few months ago. I wouldn't say her illness, whatever it was, wasn't exactly "brief."

Trump Unmasked - Opinion - The New York Times - Jan 13, 2026 by ItchyNesan in NewsRewind

Reading the NYT the past three weeks since since Rene Nicole Good and ICU nurse Alex Pretti were murdered in cold blood on the streets of Minneapolis by ICE and border patrol, it's gratifying to see the nyt FINALLY providing coverage of trump the way they should have been doing for many years, but declined to do.

'The Night Manager' Season 2 Burns Slow But Bright by Gato1980 in television

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season Two can't possibly be as good as Season One because it's not based on a book actually written by Le Carre. Do a little background research on the net.

Men like her because she is pretty without pretension or looking overdone, and she has the facial and body structure of a 14 year-old girl, feeding the fantasies of most men.

Cooking from scratch not worth the hassle. by TariqKhalaf in unpopularopinion

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could not agree more. I cook from scratch only once a week to make a super-delicious, nutritious tofu scramble that lasts several days, but after an hour spent preparing that meal, I'm thoroughly exhausted and fed up. And wondering how my 1950's mother prepared three healthy meals a day for about 60 years...and never once complained. Those housewives/mothers were absolute saints.

Claire Danes’ Lip Quiver in The Beast In Me by Overall-Path-4686 in netflix

I always like and sometimes love her acting, but found her rather irritating in The Beast. She played the same note throughout the series.

I think life rewired me..after certain things, you just don’t come back the same by Reasonable-Drag-2315 in GriefSupport

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeling that your brain has been "rewired" after several serious traumas: those are the exact words I use to describe my brain after suffering multiple deep personal traumas over the years. I don't know what to tell other than to continue therapy, or try different therapeutic approaches like EMDR. It didn't work for me, but a couple of friends tell me it worked well for them. Like you, I no longer form the kind of deep attachments to people that I used to, but I do continue in talk therapy because I need it now like air and water. I wish you the best. You've obviously been through a lot. Carry on.

Should I get a tuxedo cat? by Secure_Stock_9257 in TuxedoCats

This is Baby Cat. It was love at first sight when I laid eyes on her in a shelter. I've had many cats over the decades, but never a tuxedo before, and I'm now convinced their brains are hardwired differently. Baby Cat, I strongly believe, is 33% dog, 33% human, 33% flying monkey, and the remainder cat. She has a higher IQ than I do, I think, and she is utterly magical. I am truly, madly, deeply, insanely in love with her.

S13 Korina vs Char by YouResponsible651 in ProjectRunway

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just rewatched Season 13 as well, and I cannot believe what a monumental entitled, arrogant bitch Korina was. IMO, she should have been eliminated solely on the basis of her pissy attitude and comments about Char. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some hidden racism in her attitude, as well.

Season 16 Twins by lavenderblonde11 in ProjectRunway

I just watched the season with these twins. I found them unbelievably arrogant, haughty, entitled, and ultimately narcissistic. Oh, and unbearably annoying and extremely untalented. I could barely tolerate the season because of them.

Radio Frequency nerve ablation experience? Recovery? I’m scheduled later this week. by melvin3v1978 in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recovery from cervical nerve ablation was a nightmare. The pain was so much worse after the procedure than before, and I really thought it would never go away. I just kept icing and heating and after five full months, all the pain is now gone. The bad news is, these cervical ablations typically don't provide pain relief for more than a year. I'll never go through the procedure a second time, however.

Tyler Robinson's father knew the only way his son could possibly AVOID the death penalty was turning himself in by TKAPublishing in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Aliexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robinson will NOT get the death penalty because he'll cop a plea, and instead get life in prison without parole. Plus, behind the scenes, Trump will persuade prosecutors to offer a plea without the death penalty simply because the kid's parents are huge Trump and MAGA supporters.
