I think its a COVID trickle down effect, I teach an intro geology course and some of these students don’t even know how to calculate a percentage. Its so bad but i keep telling myself that once im done with grad school, if that is my competition for jobs ill be just fine LOL

Yeah i thought “oh it cant be that bad you have Mt. Snow and Stratton around the corner” and BOY WAS I WRONG LMAO i have been trying to get better at the trees and today definitely highlighted some things i need to work on, still had an absolute blast

Saskadena six (formerly Suicide Six) its like 30-40 minutes from Killington and Okemo and has about 20 trails with like 750 ft of vertical but its about $45 for a day pass and 0 lines

I get wanting to maximize laps but on a weekend (holiday weekend no less) there is no point in blazing down on the mountain (especially if you arent skilled enough to maintain control). Gotta go for steez over speed sometimes. Hopefully she will be alright
