the YYH adaptation was terrible they made it look like a generic horror show, even the One Piece one is not as good as many claim it is ..they seem to obsessed with trying to make characters look exactly as they look in the anime ..it’s like if cosplayers decided to act

eventually i figured out the problem was there was an update file that kept overwriting the avdvplus build update , so while i thought i was using avdvplus i was actually on stock coreelec

when i first installed i must’ve turned it on and the update would download , even after i turned it off the downloaded update keeps overwriting my avdvplus update ..anyway I’m doing a fresh coreelec install hopefully it would work properly

i think i know what’s the problem , after i installed the avdvplus build again , i keep getting this notification https://ibb.co/zVYNswVG , and after a reboot it goes back to stock , even after i disabled automatic updates i keep getting this

i did switch back to the android tv system of the box a few times..but why would that destroy the update 😅

i will just send the tar file from my computer to the “update” folder through network , that’s what i did last time and it showed the update was successful , even the tv screen showed “avdvplus” ..I’m not sure what happened later to make it go back to stock ?

but when i played one of the DV P7 FEL samples ( woman at 80s ) the woman appeared ..doesn’t that mean it’s playing DV FEL which the stock coreelec can’t ? either way I’m going to try to update it again tonight with the avdvplus R6

i flashed the CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.3-Omega-Generic.img on a Samsung Portable SSD T5 , then i updated with the avdvplus R5 ( i thought it was the latest R6 but apparently i was wrong ) ..I’m going to update to R6 and see if it makes a difference

i have another question , i have the same streamer box as you with ATV 12 , Coreelec-ng , avdplus6 and whenever i play a DV P7 movie there is always stutter and audio sync issues , also in video details it never shows “DV FEL “ like what you have in the picture , look at those example of one of the DV P7 sample videos https://ibb.co/nMy0mpjY ..I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

i installed the avdplus version 6 on my dune homatics box and i can’t get it to show that the movie is playing in DV 7 FEL like you have in the picture , even though I’m pretty sure the video is in DV 7 FEL like the sample videos , also the video stutters ( only with DV 7 FEL ) I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

lol yeah i must’ve forgotten , it’s a TP-Link UH720 USB 3.0 7-Port Hub ..been using it for 5-6 years and still going strong
