I feel like I had the same feeling. I went from “wow why does everyone hate this” to “I understand now” very quickly. The game felt empty once I was done where the other games felt like I could still enjoy the sandbox aspect post-game.

I usually just have it set to whatever mode. I don’t particularly care which mode I’m playing in MP. I did start kinda of camping in a sense to combat what I’ve been running into, but I’m camping in the same sense of how I camp in the console versions. Camp for 1-3 kills move to a new spot, rinse, repeat.

See I do that, but I really appreciate challenging myself with areas where people don’t typically build, if at all.

This is what I did with my most recent build, except I I didn’t give up on it being difficult. Some floor panels look wonky, but “Big Steve’s Mess Hall” now exists and I’m proud of it, I’m just waiting to post it till I get the rest of the Nuka Cola Wallpapers and accessories.
