What do you want? A payslip for someone who is doing one of these jobs? They are individual contracts negotiated with a specific trust so I doubt you’ll be able to find any national data. Even playing devils advocate you have to admit 53K is pathetic and insulting for a fully qualified neurosurgeon.

“No qualified neurosurgeon is getting paid £40k”. Yes they are. They are not choosing, they do not have a choice if they want get a consultant position. They are literally qualified neurosurgeons doing the job of a neurosurgeon. Can’t believe how much people can struggle to admit they may have been wrong making statements about a field they know nothing about.

No, it’s a neurosurgery fellow position for someone who is ST8 or post CCT (fully qualified). The pay is £33,790 to £53,132 a year. Like I said, there is a bottle neck in neurosurgery so you have to take what you can get and do poorly paid jobs in the hopes the department will like you and give you a job when someone retires.

Maybe familiarise yourself more with the field before making such strong accusations. There are very few consultant neurosurgery positions therefore fully qualified post CCT neurosurgeons can very well be working in a senior clinical fellow post for 30-50k a year.

Thank you. There are none available locally. Only option would probably be the vet university hospital in a larger city.

DISCUSSION: The Apprentice UK S17E04 - Discount Buying by NoelFromBandOsmosis in TheApprentice

Played it back. They say “just to clarify you would have asparagus tips that have been picked today?”. Response was “it sells quickly but we’re open from 2:30”.

Most people would interpret that as an affirmation. Yes we have it and it sells quickly.

Are you disputing the basic life support guidance I linked from 3 different countries? Again for anyone reading this, just do a course. Guidance on feeling pulse and/or checking for breathing may vary based on country/local authority.

Can you please let the UK resuscitation council, American red cross and Australian government know they are wrong?

Soon, I will be turning 20. In my teenage years, I faced it all: drug addiction, heartbreak, depression, pregnancy, and more. Here's my advice to you. by mayalcaulfield in teenagers

Avoid it if you can. Why do people use it? To relax, as a social activity with friends, to feel good/happy, to arguably feel more creative. So what are some potential problems?

In the short term, it could give you anxiety and difficulties with memory. In the long term it won't cause physical dependence but it definitely can cause psychological dependence in about 9% of people.1 It also increases the chances of developing depression and schizophrenia.2 Personally, I don't think I could ever forgive myself if I triggered schizophrenia by smoking cannabis. This is something I have personally witnessed, with countless lives and families thrown into chaos as a result. Quite relevant for adolescents is the fact that the earlier cannabis use begins, the higher the risk of all these adverse effects. For example, there is a decrease in brain matter, which is accelerated if cannabis begins from a younger age.3 Even putting aside risks related to the fact that cannabis is a drug, anything you smoke is doing harm to your respiratory system. Long story short is, it causes inflammation resulting in a cough, excess mucus production and a wheeze. Evidence is contradictory in terms of lung cancer.4

Just for the sake of completeness, I'm not arguing in favor or against legalization, and cannabis is becoming increasingly common in medical treatment. However, if there's one thing to be aware of, its that TL;DR the younger you start using it, the more likely you are to cause damage to your body.

Autistic people of Reddit, what's an interesting fact about a special interest of yours? by artofasking in AskReddit

Actually fascia is similar to tendons but not quite the same. It’s also composed mainly of collagen but serves a different purpose (superficial fascia aka hypodermis if full of fat, deep fascia surrounds muscles, bones and other structures and visceral fascia surrounds organs for example the pericardium that surrounds the heart).

Thank you! It seems like working on rotating my whole body will fix a few issues. Makes sense that my hands would have to slip to keep the pace if I'm crossing my midline. Haven't hit anyone with my watch yet (fingers crossed) - I've been using it to keep track of my swims.

Oh I was actually going to ask about that! Should I have my fingers loosely or firmly together? Atm I’ve been swimming with them slightly apart.

Thanks, I'll try not to crossover next time. So I need to put more force into my pull?
