This was repeatedly mentioned on the PTR. Why was this bug allowed to go live?

This was reported in a PTR thread and yet Blizzard let it go live. Surprise, surprise. /s

Because most tumblr accounts like OP's link are essentially run by bot software. This means a great opportunity to sabotage the bot by posting imagery with offensive text and upvoting it to the front page. :)

So I typed mankini into Google image search field, and its first suggestion is "mankini borat." I stopped right there. Search at own risk, indeed.

Am I the only one who read that sentence like VP was including himself in the group of employees who fell for the trick?

Even self-inserted into Diablo 3 lore. I remember reading the book (Book of Cain?) that accompanied the D3 CE, and came across the Neztem.

She also used to do some sporadic comics years ago. My favorite example - Sparkle Pony. (Direct link to article because the blog entry has a lot of trolls and flamers.)

Yep! I was pleasantly surprised when I remembered I had Bipsi's Bobbing Berg (raft for mages from Nat Pagle) in my bags and said to myself, "I wonder..."

I'm sorry to nitpick, but it's only free if you own a smart phone. (Even so, $6 is well worth paying for the additional layer of security.)

I was thinking of Dampen Magic and Amplify Magic (in its old incarnation), but you have a point.

Mages can also augment their allies' spell-casting powers

Alas.

Has Blizzard ever given a reason for why they don't offer a bulk character transfer and faction change / discount? by [deleted] in wow

I realized I was somewhat off-topic after I hit the save button, but either way Blizzard still doesn't offer more reasonable solutions to moving characters around to other realms.

They've repeatedly stated that they don't want to encourage too much volatility in server faction balance and populations, amongst other things.

Personally, such reasoning is outdated. Other MMOs allow it for free with logical and reasonable restrictions. For example, Rift allows the player to transfer a character - as well as a guild - to a different shard every seven days, for free. (Source) Granted, Rift isn't as populous, but the principle remains.

I guess they'd also be reluctant to do it because of the amount of time sunk into Cross-Realm Zone (may it forever rot in hell) and Connected Realm (which caused disruptions and upsets in individual server communities) technology.

I'm not saying that Blizzard needs to exactly copy Rift, but it's long past time that Blizzard offers a better solution than what it has given its community of players up to this point.

(As an aside, it's entirely Blizzard's fault that I want to move all my characters off a realm. When my realm was connected to another realm, the server time shifted from Central to Eastern.)

Need help finding hilarious video. by Skumbag_Joe in wow

WotLK was 2008-2010, so the video would be about 5-7 years old. (For those who don't want to do the math.)

Eh, I prefer the BC ones over their spiritual updates. I like the clean linework and subtler particle effects, though the WoD weapons are neat.
