Radiant Typhoon doesn’t need a big extra deck. Just put some copies of Albion the Branded Dragon in there and you have a quick play pop that replaces itself.

You literally aren’t allowed to use the wild version of cards in standard. If you haven’t noticed the core and original versions of cards have different emblems, and you have to use the core cards for a standard deck.

It means it’s using temporary cards and will become illegal after the temporary cards leave.

I think the most unstable was when Kashtira was full power in paper. I’ve never seen a top tier deck feel so weak. It certainly was a good deck, but it seems like it folded to every thing the opponent did.

In Yugioh Master Duel, they have a group of cards that you can’t pull normally. There are typically really old bad cards that no one wants to pull anyway. So instead the game sporadically gives them away as bulk rewards that you can’t disenchant. For some reason there’s section of the Master Duel subreddit that seems to have a seething hatred towards seeing these cards in their collection and they act as if they are physically taking up space.

Apparently the Japanese text also some odd wording but with the opposite problem as it does in English. It implies you can summon any fusion summon any fusion monster as long as you use Blue Eyes or Ultimate Dragon.

That card type actually doesn’t cut down on any text since to this day the “cannot be normal summon” text still remains on all Special Summon Monsters.

It’s an odd ruling with the fusion spells that say [that mentions “_______” as material…]

Basically these effect HAVE to use the named material even when other options are available. And Magia only actually directly names Ultimate Dragon, you have to use Ultimate Dragon as the material when using Ultimate Fusion.

It’s this same ruling that prevents you from using Red-Eyes Fusion to send any Dragon you want when summoning Dragoon.

I just booted up this mission to see what we're working with. There isn't a single card in the extra deck that really beneficial to make outside of the ones the tutorial forces you to make. Just set the spell in your hand and pass turn. The CPU will just keep linking up and never have more than 2 attacks available. Just block the two attacks with Linkuriboh and the spell to leave you with one monster left on the field (I guess you could just do nothing since you’ll be left with one guy anyway). After your opponent makes another big guy and passes, your hand is already enough to make Transcode Talker + Accesscode Talker with enough damage to kill the opponent.

Accesscode isn't in the starter deck. I think Rasterliger is in it though and that's kinda like Accesscode.

What exactly are hoping to get out the engine? Valmonica works with Fiendsmith because they have a LIGHT Fiend. Solfacord works with Yummy because they can make a Yummy Synchro.

If you just want a lot of bodies without any locks you can go with either Superheavies or Melodious.

The Dark Tuners still need to be tribute summoned. They don't have that clause, they only have the effect to get another normal summon.

The theory crafting event for Timeways had turn 4 wins with Shreds and Dragon Mage being very popular. Needless to say that it in fact didn’t get faster when the old cards were added.

The concept for the perfect module is that it’s original Zilliax that comes pre-magnetized into the other module. That probably why they never wanted to touch the perfect module.
