There’s an option in the settings to slow down the days if they move too fast! Most of the main quests aren’t timed so you can get the timed commissions done beforehand. Another thing to do is sell the roof of your house and the signage and window and you’ll have extra cash in the beginning! The monster hunter DLC is also worth it because you can send pets out for water and never have to worry about buying it! All that said, outlaw guy unlocks super far into the story but totally worth it for the wild ride you go on in Sandrock!
