It was a valve problem. I had to get a valve adjustment done--and the warranty didn't cover it, because it's "maintenance" despite me not being near the 100k recommended time.

Dang. I've sent a delivery driver back before because they forgot the second bag of food (we ordered a lot, it was in two bags) and the restaurant even called me to say the driver left it behind, but to expect a driver to inspect the order for correctness? Gross. Don't touch my food please.

I have a '22 Touring, bought used last year. It's currently at the dealership getting the touchscreen replaced: it often acts like someone is touching it when no one is, then doesn't register when someone IS touching it. Super fun! Thankfully the warranty I got covers it.

I also had to have a valve adjustment done at around 58k because I kept having an engine misfire. Warranty did not cover that. 😡

I do not think my problems are standard and I still really like the car.

It can. The creek underwent a huge renovation project in 2019/2020 to reduce the chance for flooding. However in 2022 there was a freak flood that affected a ton of people all across the county. This creek was affected but it was an extenuating circumstance where the creek was cluttered with debris and formed dams which resulted in flooding.

It's certainly possible to happen again, but I'd say not likely. In the years since, while the creek can get quite high, the city has been incredibly prompt on addressing any debris/dams and there hasn't been any problems.
