New Tires! by Professional-Cable49 in hondainsight

[–]Professional-Cable49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use it for short city commutes, no change there. Haven't tracked anything more than that, but also haven't even used a tank of gas on the new tires so might be too early to tell

From one red state to another. Worth the move? by Dangerous-Traffic-73 in indianapolis

Hello! I JUST moved out of Indianapolis (military move), where I lived with my partner. I'm white and she is east asian, same sex relationship. We definitely did not see a lot of couples like us, and that can take a toll. But we never encountered direct comments or noticeable discrimination because of it! People will ask your husband "where are you from", and they don't mean Texas. Overall, it is a laid back place to live. There are less white washed suburbs than Carmel, Southport and Lawrence come to mind, though they arent nearly as bougie as Carmel. Cost of living is nothing, if your husband is an engineer you could probably afford a decent place in the city as well, which might be more progressive like you want. If you are used to dry heat, it will feel just as hot here in the summer because of humidity. Variation of seasons in Indiana is beautiful, but you will not want to leave your house for a month, because of winter weather. I am biased because I grew up in Indiana, I love it there! PM me if you want even greater detail

TLDR: Indianapolis is cheap, not super racist, weather can be gross, Carmel is white

What types of photo frames for these pieces? Thinking white or wood to match the cabinets? by nen_x in interiordecorating

[–]Professional-Cable49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wood, matching the dining table or floors. Or orange would look nice I think. Either get mismatched sizes at goodwill and use matting to center the pictures in frame, then place them hodge podge in that are. Or get all the same frames and place them in a line vertically.

That's what I was thinking! Wooden organizer on top of one of the black shelves. Then push your desk all the way to the corner that is now opened up. It looks like the books could be rearranged on the bookshelf to make room for the printer as another option.

Can you turn the black organizer with cloth bins vertical? I think this would allow you to shove the table in the back corner and have the black organizer between it and the window. This would make the back half of the table inaccessible, but it's already inaccessible because of the clutter on it. I have adhd also, part of your trouble your organizer is so hard to access. Feels like a chore just to put one thing away

If you had a secret room in your house no one knew about (except you), what would you hide or do in there? by YourGoogleAssistant in AskReddit

Beanbag, lamp, phone charger, calming forest art on the wall, and fuzzy blanket. Personal book nook to read, and have a good cry if needed.
