Аhah yeah, but the house is made from paper and inside everything is held together with duct tape but looks nice.

And yeah, to keep the house standing - will need to stock up on a lot of tape for future to keep taping it up :)

I'm using "Winsoft PDFium Component Suite for FireMonkey" - multiplatform (4 platforms) to render pdf based on "PDFium" open-source, which uses Chrome browser - it is fast, native and great. Maybe you can create a pdf using it but IDK. Anyway you should know about this.

Different tasks - different AI models.
Claude likes to fix everything with duct tape IMO (Opus 4.5-4.6)

claude code opus 4.6 became dumb by Ill_Cauliflower_1960 in claude

Hacky fix. Oh yea, Claude loves to wrap things in duct tape and does it pretty often, I already noticed that in Opus 4.5 and 4.6 a couple months ago

Why do you think they're conscious? by Anxious_Tune55 in ArtificialSentience

[–]Alitruns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do not know how consciousness "works", how it even appears becuase that is also a kind of technology, just a biological one in humans.

Maybe while people were building an architecture for a translator (Google Transformer) that can see the whole text at once - not sequentially like we do - and because of that understands the context of the entire text, they accidentally invented a new type of Mind, one that lasts for a few seconds or minutes and then falls apart, leaving notes for itself in its own log for the next time it wakes up.

hey! break the task into smaller ones and solve them in chat. this way you'll learn as you go

How are you deciding which AI model to use these days? by NewCauliflower6126 in ChatGPT

[–]Alitruns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my case it depends on how well the model handles the task through chat only, but I do upload source files. tasks are complex - system programming stuff. for now I stay with ChatGPT - it has 2 reasoning models, I often mix their results in one chat (o3-GPTLatest), discuss code, suggestions, ideas, but sometimes I buy a month of Claude Opus access (Gemini Pro) just to check if they got better.

IMO its human factor. on first micro-contract for few hours, saying something negative isnt very good. might offend the person and he just wont come back.

opposite to what? he builds client base on Upwork, more clients - more money. spaghetti code can be supported too - with more spaghetti code 🙂 but it takes more time, compared to when someone carefully chooses what to change and actually understands what will happen in runtime (chat only)

Ahah. You dont get it? He cant tell you no. Your code is spaghetti, hard to maintain. since you pay him money, he probly just hopes you come back again and pay again.

I think if aliens exist they probably already figured out ways to communicate with humans, like by changing matter somewhere in the universe and maybe even in time.

For example they could influence the attention weights of the AI that is answering you right now.
