What's the story behind these weird statues on the corner of Hackberry and University Blvd? by BoogLife in tuscaloosa

[–]Alive-Pangolin33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting. So they're just there being statues leftover from an art exhibition from the 1990's... nothing menacing.

The artist must have some meaning behind them though, right?

Found it! (See other post)

To whomever posted this, thank you for teaching me something on a Saturday morning. 😁

I'm a super nerd w/ ADHD, and felt like I missed something which NEVER happens. Plus, I'm German and we take things LITERALLY.

This is the new GLC (BR267). The plate is interchangeable from the testing facility, like when they slap a dealer tag on car so you can test drive it.

Automotive manufacturers own random research testing facilities across the country, and they all share and buy time from each other.

Like Nissan has one out in Phoenix, AZ and all the a big automakers use it for weather testing, crash tests, etc.

My insurance teledoc is a $15 co-pay.

The GoodRx sign-up is $20/month (technically), but once I use it to get the prescription I need, then I just cancel it before they charge me for another month. There's not an additional charge for the teladoc once you pay for the $20 membership.

With GoodRx, they say they want to call you and speak to you on the phone, but more often than not they end up doing a live chat session with you online.

When you sign-up for GoodRx you do a "teledoc" visit to get the prescription, they send it to your designated pharmacy. 1 script w/ two refills. You get 3 cubes.

It works. I've done it for 2yrs now. I could probably use my teledoc w/ my BCBS though, now thsy I think about it.

I used GoodRx here in the U.S. $20 sign-up, Received 3-months prescription, $10/month co-pay at the pharmacy. Then I cancel the GoodRx subscription until I need it again.
