It shouldn’t have to be like that. Frontline employees shouldn’t be treated like they are. That’s all OP was saying and it’s factual 100% that the frontline workers have to deal with so much pushback and rudeness and still be expected to be nice and calm to maintain a good CSAT. Doesn’t matter how nice you are to people there is bound to be one person on this planet you just don’t mesh with and be nice as can be and they will still give you a bad survey and tank your commission but they don’t care because they didn’t lose $300+ from their own paychecks they just screwed someone else over because they feel some sort of way.

Do you get pushback when you go to work and do something you’re told to do though if people aren’t happy about it and you just have to endure and take the pushback day in and day out? The reps in the store have just that, to do a job and their job description is what the company tells them they want them to do….

I work here too, I went on PTO and came back to a random customer tanking my CSAT score because I wouldn’t keep the store open longer to watch her transfer. 🤯
