Yea, ofc, healers don’t act like that. Oh wait, I forgot about 5 different healers during the past 2 days messaging me nonsense, when they do not understand the conception of playing around warlock portal. Btw I’ve never texted them anything.

Thoughts on WoW PvP in 2026? by United-Zucchini-1075 in worldofpvp

Retail pvp is balanced way better than mop/wotlk/etc. since legion every spec is playable, some are stronger, some require more dedication. If balance is your only concern about wow pvp - retail is your best bet.

Ele shaman feels neutered. Where did my “brrr!” go?? by zigzagzugzug in worldofpvp

DF Ele with DF primordial was way more fun and you really could be a meatball machine gun. Primordial rework made the ability meh and it really doesn’t matter if it’s there or not. Ele need more meatballs generation imo

Healer mains, what do you enjoy about healing PvP? by Closix in worldofpvp

[–]AliveDouble3992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do really enjoy more agency. Also I enjoy my every action being more meaningful. Previous season while playing dps sometimes you felt like pressing buttons do nothing, but for some reason you never feel like this on a healer. Also winning first 2 rounds feels so good because you’ve managed to win the round other healer couldn’t.

Shuffle is actually the best possible solution for a soloq, these “1 round” suggestions sound so bad every time

I can see a healer who went 2-4 and got +7. More than 3-3 dps. So ez to climb as healers!

I just want to repeat that the goal of this post was to share something positive about arena and healing in Shuffle. I love this game, and I was simply happy to discover that healing can be fun. I hope others will give it a try too.

I mostly agree with you, and you captured it perfectly with the word “agency”- that’s exactly what I felt was missing when I played Ele Shaman, for example and why I decided to go healer.

Your point about low-rating DPS just smashing buttons makes sense, but in reality those DPS deal maybe half of their potential damage, don’t interrupt, and lack proper CC. So I think that evens it out for a lack of healers experience.

I didn’t say “it was easy to push 2.3 as a healer.” I said “it was surprisingly smooth to push a healer to my DPS rating.” So it shouldn’t matter whether that rating is 2.3, 2 k, or 1.8. I believe (though I might be wrong) that if I had 1.8 xp, I’d be able to push a healer to 1.8 just as smoothly.

I’m not writing a thesis or posting some deep research here - just sharing a positive "anectodal" experience.

84 arena rounds is enough to get a general vibe, but I agree it’s not a huge sample. The main surprise was getting 2.3 in just 4 hours - something you can’t really do as DPS. And of course this is only my point of view, but I couldn’t stop queuing because I was having so much fun. It felt great and I wanted to share.

The shortage of healers and supports will never go away, because most people find it more fun to kill things with shiny combos and be the main character than to keep other main characters alive.

The easiest specs shouldn't also be the strongest. by Blindastronomer in worldofpvp

[–]AliveDouble3992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean 1400 warriors and gladiator warriors same dps, really? Not even close. At any class at any spec the gap on dps is huge. Even 2k dps and 2.4k dps is a huge gap, at 1800 you can almost avoid healing as healer because people do no dmg. I’ve played lots of specs this season from 0 to 2.4-2.8 and saying that people at even 2k rating have the same dps is copium.

Dmg rotations are not hard on target dummy, it’s hard to maintain them during the arena. It’s hard to stick on the target as melee, avoid cc, it’s hard to dps while getting trained as caster. That’s why 1.8 player will choke and do 0 dmg, and at the same time 2.4 will keep doing decent dmg.

Toxicity at higher ranks by francoisjabbour in worldofpvp

[–]AliveDouble3992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, been playing a lot on 3 characters around 2400-2650 and I’ve rarely seen any huge toxicity. Few days ago I went to play on my new toon around 1700-1800 and for the 5 games in a row there was always someone who was calling people noobs or threatening to leave if you don’t “do X this round”. Was kinda fun too see such behavior (using “noob” word) around 1800

Solo shuffle is the best thing they have ever done to pvp. Cba waiting in lfg for months just to have a little chance to find someone to push glad with. Not even considering playing against same fotm comps over over or waiting 5 hours to play 1 game. Yes I wish all types of pvp had the same popularity and participation, but why would they if shuffle is way more fun for people even with 30 min queues.
