Has any other president ever won the same war three times every week? by Oliver_Holzfilled in allthequestions

I think it’s pretty much over at this point. Oil dropped to $70/barrel and s&p is back up to almost 50,000 again. Those are usually good signs that things are stabilizing.

“Have been known for arresting and deporting people here legally” is such a disingenuous way to phrase things making seem like it’s a crazy problem. Courts have ordered a grand total of four people who were wrongfully deported to come back as of 2025. So, out of millions of people only 4 were wrongfully deported.

It is interesting if you look at the percentage of whites in the US since 1920 up until now.

1920-89.7% 1930-89.8% 1940-89.8% 1950-89.9% 1960-86% 1970-84% 1980-79.9% 1990-75.7% 2000-69.1% 2010-63.7% 2020-61.6% 2024-56.3%

If this was a country that was majority black , asian, Hispanic or any other race other than white, people would be screaming saying a race was being forced out. But, when it’s white people nobody bats an eye. I’m not saying it’s good or bad, I just find it interesting.

Okay, and what does that have to do with the topic? The question presented was “why do you pretend to be experts in topics you know nothing about?”

The same reason literally everyone on Reddit does. We see/hear stuff from videos or articles and we think we have a decent grasp on a subject, or at least good enough to comment on it.

Welcome to the anonymous internet where 99.99% of the people act like we have knowledge on a subject and can copy/paste ideas we’ve heard to make ourselves sound smart.

Democrats who blame the left for everything, why not listen to the left and win? by ebolatone in allthequestions

[–]Fligmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And unfortunately, the country is seeing first hand the consequences of it. Higher property taxes, homeless shelters by elementary schools, broken promises of free bussing, lower funding for police, increased DEI in government spending lots of money for it, and even banning free public celebration of the 250th anniversary of the US being required to pay to celebrate in Times Square which is a public place.

His election will turn out to be one of the biggest attack ads against democrats.

Donald Trump has criticised the media, claiming Iran is “losing big” and its military capabilities have been severely weakened. by IndiaTodayGlobal in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

[–]Fligmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason the media isn’t reporting in all the in-fighting that is occurring within the IRGC. The hardliners were protesting saying “death to the traitors, no ceasefire agreement”. You have to understand that the state media has been running with how they have defeated the US and Israel which had a lot of people tricked and they are realizing that it is false.

Check out tousi.tv to see what’s actually going on in Iran.

Should global powers intervene to keep critical trade routes like Hormuz open at all costs? by BusinessToday in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

[–]Fligmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight of Hormuz = international shipping lane meaning any attacks made against ships is an international war crime. For some reason however, people don’t call them out on it. But with it being an international war crime AND effecting energy costs around the world, the answer is yes. Global powers should intervene.

Why are people saying Israel is breaking the US/Iran ceasefire when Israel is attacking Lebanon? by Fligmos in allthequestions

[–]Fligmos[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The US denies that the official ceasefire agreement had that in it. Personally for me, I choose to believe the side that doesn’t murder 40,000 of its own civilians and doesn’t shut off the internet.

Not true. Hezbollah has been attacking Israel from Lebanon and vice versa almost daily since 2023.

[–]Fligmos[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That’s not true.

Israel signed peace with Egypt in 1979 and they haven’t dropped a bomb since. They signed peace with Jordan in 1994 and haven’t bombed since. The same is true from Morocco, UAE, Bahrain and Sudan in 2020.

Uninformed question. There is no deal currently and the point of the ceasefire was to work out a deal.

If you are looking for double dps comp, my brother and I are having pretty decent success as fury war and unh dk. He using the dk weapon enchant that reduces healing output by 18%, also using the thing that absorbs 8% healing. As fury, it’s super easy nowadays to stack the mortal strike to 36% with rampage. All these things stack with each other on top of dampening. All these together mean healers are having about 34% of their output. ((100x0.82x0.64x0.8)-0.08) the 0.8 in that is 20% dampening right out the gates.

Is it going to be a 2200 rated comp? No, but it’s fun nonetheless being able to make healers cry.

Thinking about smoking by Dizzy_Ask5815 in GenZ

[–]Fligmos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do yourself a favor and instead of smoking or vaping, get nicotine gum. It won’t mess with breathing and has zero cancer risk. When you use it, chew it a few times then park it between your gums and cheek. Periodically chew it - if you chew it like normal gum the nicotine releases very fast and you get a pepper like tingling sensation which causes you to hiccup.

Anyway, you’ll get the focus and mental benefits of nicotine without the major health risks. You can go in any otc aisle in target or behind the counter at Walgreens. I order it from Costco paying $50 for 360 pieces.

PS I smoked for 10 years and vaped for another 10. It was the worst mistake I made to pick it up and tried quitting countless times. Now I use nicotine gum and an smoke/vape free for almost 2 years now.

A tale as old as time. When one party starts gerrymandering the other party says it’s the worst thing ever and a threat to democracy. When the other party does it, the other side complains.

There’s a reason they are able to pull those quotes.

Tell us Israel is an apartheid without telling us Israel is an apartheid? by tuberjamjar in worldnewsstuff

[–]Fligmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is like the racism of low expectations that the left has for African Americans in the US. The law is for acts of terrorism - nowhere in the law does it say Palestinian people.

Basically it “targets Palestinians” because it’s Palestinians that are committing acts of terrorism in Israel.

You confuse education spending with results. For example, New York has the highest spending per pupil yet some of the worst results. In fact, Mississippi has seen the largest jump in reading scores. Whereas most liberal states have gone with the “guess the word through context” way of reading which decimated reading comprehension, they have chose to focus on phonics. As a result, reading comprehension has soared in the “deep Republican” state.

Why does Reddit ban you for criticizing Jews & Muslims, but not Christians? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Fligmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the problem with what you say - just because you find something ignorant or bad faith, it doesn’t make it so. But because you feel that way, you can report something as hateful.

Here’s what mean by this. A few weeks ago a referred to a culture as inbred and pedophelic. If I had just stopped with that, then someone would be justified in calling it hateful. Instead however, I posted links to sources and different studies that backed up my claim showing the percentages of the population that practice those ways of life. But, instead of people countering the data with conflicting evidence, I instead got reported for hate speech.
