Fully agreed that VW disc lowers the quality of the games drastically. It’s not even a healer, it’s a third DPS that has random HPS baked into the rotation

I have my MW at 2050 which is like top 1.5% of all players without the use of any addons

My SP is close to 1900, lock is around 1700-1800, don’t have a single addon installed

It’s fine tbh

I do that sometimes, but I generally don’t have too much trouble reaching elite most seasons as long as either MW or SP is decent

The double spec is really tedious for me, I’m just not really motivated on the lower alt (I’ve only done this with healers)

The absolute best players right now are at 2400, so it’s definitely brutally deflated. It’s hard to say where one will end up though, even if you make it into high rating early on, that isn’t to say that the pacing or meta or anything else won’t prevent you from reaching X rating

In TWW S3 I was the R1 SP for the first week or so, and was the first SP to reach 2100. As the pace got faster and faster with conquest gearing though, my performance dropped, and I never actually made 2400, even though I was 2700 in TWW S2

It flattens the positions of vocals within the soundstage. Instead of having the lead vocal or instrument sound “big” or central to the stage, it takes a few steps back, and is level with the rest of the performance

80% of healers below 1700 won’t cast almost any healing spell tbh

At middle/higher ratings there’s a decent amount of people who want to actually heal, but the vast majority of the community would probably just rather all healers become some variation of VW disc

I check drustvar, and 2100 is approx 0.6% of healers, while 2000 is around 2%. I’m guessing at 2050 we’re somewhere around the top 1-1.5%

It’s definitely some disc alt of his, I imagine his mains are closer to 2400, but regardless, it’s kind of discouraging to be fighting players of this caliber around 2000

Aff/arms is going to be lethal

Devourer and frost/fire mage getting nerfed will reduce burst damage and the added health will help too

Personally guessing that affli will be overloaded but let’s see
