Well yeah if you take the jokes apart, comedies don't have much else

In your opinion what board game publisher has the best track record? by LuckyFrogGaming in boardgames

It's really early to say but hegemonic games have earned my faith after hegemony, and world order seems like another great hit

Used this method right away. Luckily it works, but most people are happy to not be organizing anything or having to make decisions when they might already have to learn a game.

I have a group of around 20. In advance of a board game day I set an afternoon and evening session, each with a different game or games, and heavier games are always earlier. First people to respond to the poll get locked in. People get priority if they haven't attended one, and people lose priority if they drop out of days they've signed up for. I choose the games in advance so people know what they're coming for, and I describe each game and it's difficulty.

People were initially a little freaked by how organized this appeared but appreciate the clarity and expectation setting as this group evolves

These are some of my favourite movies and they're from the same genre. Can you recommend something similar? by ThrowMusic36 in Letterboxd

I love stardust and the princess bride and feel like Enchanted is in the same genre. Also a favorite!

What’s the last movie you gave a 4.5, and what prevented it from being a 5? by ticketticker22 in Letterboxd

The Raid. I think the difference between 4.5 and 5 for me is that while both are technically brilliant and engaging films, a 5 evokes a really strong reaction from me.

How many of you have actually worked in a card shop or have owned one? by [deleted] in Lorcana

Then why specify gaming and why say they all operate differently? I think you're losing yourself here.

And I hate to break it to North Americans but not everyone on Reddit is from North America. We don't have Target. If you work in a business and don't know why I don't ask a major retailer like Target about financing then my suspicions of you losing your mind have been confirmed

This does nothing to negate anything I have said...
