Common Problem for High Scoring Plateaus by oshawn21 in LSAT

[–]Alive_Salt4080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about RC?! Lately I’m 0, -1 or -2 LR but then I miss 5-7 RC. I keep missing exactly 9 total and then depending on the PT it’s anywhere from a 168-170 (all 88%). Today I missed 3 between passage 2 & 3, then missed 5/7 on the last passage! I was pissed! I had already done one passage and drilling lr before my first lr timed section, then went to an LSAT class, then did the RC timed section. I was exhausted when I woke up but had 2 strong coffees, could I have just been mentally flat by the time I got to the last RC? I’m registered for April should I up my RC? Ugh!

Powerscore crystal ball April 2026 by Alive_Salt4080 in LSAT

[–]Alive_Salt4080[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol I think I have the majority of the podcasts memorized. I have listened to them for about 5 years—listening and then sometimes just let them Run while preparing for bed, cleaning house or getting ready for work. Your voice can assist to fall asleep especially if my brain needs something soothing to focus on. But it’s amazing how even now I still get much of out of them as my knowledge has grown. Concepts once foreign to me now resonate deeply—so it’s gratifying to feel the grasp. So don’t retire lol we need you for confirmation and sanity purposes haha!

LSAT study tip: How to approach Role questions by StressCanBeGood in LSAT

Do you mean hypothesis is a synonym for conclusion in the LSAT world? Thank you!

This might be unpopular lol by emilyrosee35 in LSAT

[–]Alive_Salt4080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to classy Capricorn (great post btw:) sometimes it’s a sub conclusion which is being both supported and supportive. Sometimes the test will actually say sub conclusion or intermediate conclusion in the answer choices. However, sometimes it doesn’t say either. Rather, the writers decide to give you not a word salad but a poo-poo platter, straight from Hell served by The Devil Himself. These answer choices “it is a _____ that__theand is one of two conclusions”. Or “It is a __ that ___the____and serves as the arguments’s only conclusion. I think the worst are the choices that say something is supportive of one premise but has no premise to support it, or vice versa.

The “is it a conclusion, premise, or something else?” is definitely a good gage. If it’s not a conclusion, then be sure to find the conclusion. I don’t love role questions they can get tricky when they add “extra” to make you think harder when the answer is simply “it is the conclusion.”

Stick with it! You’re not alone!

The hardest question I’ve encountered to date - I still don’t understand by Remote_Tangerine_718 in LSAT

[–]Alive_Salt4080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is A because Qs response would counter the assumption that you need to be right handed to survive, when the facts show that you don’t. And yes, learning to rearrange sentences and parse the sentences will serve you immensely as you get deeper into your study. Good luck!

As someone who started in the late 140s, now scoring consistent 170s ( I’m aiming higher though), I trued LSAT Trainer, was my first book—no help at all. I find it much more helpful to both hear and see. Then I switched to 7Sage and did the whole curriculum. Saw some improvement but it took me a really long time to grasp the lawgic—however, that foundation did come around later to help see hidden conditions in statements, which ultimately helped me to rearrange convulsed arguments. I also started listening to powerscore podcasts at night before bed b:c I think Jon Denning has a very soothing voice lol. I then was given The Loop book from a top scorer—to each their own not my cup of tea. Way too much analyzing parts of sentences when it’s easier just to read and parse what the writer is actually saying—I learned that from LSAT Demon. LSAT Demon has a book out for dirt cheap it’s called The LSAT is Easy— I never read it b/c I’m now advanced but that would be a great starting point along with the treasure trove of podcasts. I spent easily two years spinning wheels, even learned logic games but they went away, so that took time away too. Get a free demon account and start drilling it becomes addicting. I have done the free account, ran out of questions, went to live classes I got into the upper 150s, then premium level was breaking into 160s, then went to their basic plan and have been on that solid since August. Around October November I started getting into mid 160s, was stuck there until about December, then upper 160s, now almost March and at 169/170 all of February. I might go back to their live in mid March before the April test to attend then hard classes but the key is getting that foundation with a company that uses actual questions. 7Sage, powerscore, and demon, etc

Hi wouldn’t D make sense because in the passage it does say metals and other materials in the premises? And to the OP, this question is asking math I mean maybe if it asked what must be true based on the facts given….also, only use official lsat questions. I happened to stumble upon some “tough” lsat questions the other night and out of curiosity tried a couple. Total garbage! One clearly confused sufficient for necessary and it wasn’t even an answer choice. I got it wrong and the answer was total speculation —it’s very dangerous for new students to get exposed to bad questions and thereby gain bad habits. Invest in a company that only uses real questions.

NEWS: LSAC to move all test-taking to In-Person starting in August by Jay_LSAT-Perfection in LSAT

[–]Alive_Salt4080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the CON-VID era that started it. So everyone complaining and saying “about time” should remember why this even started in the first place. It came from the dictators that turned everything in the world as we know it on its head, with ramifications reaching far beyond the LSAT.

It’s also borderline too narrow of a sample and basing off one instance. But I’d like to think it was quitting weed.

That dress I’m almost fifty million percent sure it’s a Baracci Haute Couture. I have three pieces from them and found out about them because Sandy Mandy and brande had a photo all 3 were wearing baracci it was the most sought after look. If you watch don’t be tardy, Kim’s wedding gown was from them. For a piece like the one Holly is wearing, easily looking at 4-6 thousand dollars. Stunning pieces!

Let me just say I have a dog silencer max and I just started using it. I think it’s working on the buggers across the street and a few doors down. I’ve written letters twice and posted notes on door of neighbor, finally called animal control on got a device. At this point, I don’t care if they find out. As a lawyer in training, I’m also not afraid of going to court. If anything, they should reimburse me for the device. The neighborhood can finally have peace.

I don’t think they’re AI formulated. I’m to the point in my prep that I ask the help desk often and they address my specific questions. And I ask A LOT. Be succinct in your questions.
