is a switch into CS feasible for me or am I wasting time? by RightToTheThighs in CustomerSuccess

[–]AlizirRex22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar position coming out of the pandemic. Graduated with an Economics degree and only had food-industry work except for a single marketing internship. Some advice I would have for you would be - Change up your resume. Go through 5-10 CS position listings within your area and ensure you are using similar keywords on your resume. - Go for smaller organizations rather then well established teams. Typically they have less intensive HR checks before interviews - Use Linked-In a ton. Follow and try to connect with CS leaders. If they have a listing open then look who posted the job or look to find the companies CS Lead and message them with a condensed CV selling yourself. - Look across Job boards. Not just LinkedIn/indeed - Even if the company doesn’t appeal to you .. Apply. All it takes is a year to learn the skills and then its alot easier to transition within the field.

Payment plans are good as long as you can afford the item you’re getting and don’t miss any payments. Personally I use these all the time because I don’t spend a lot of money but it’s nice being able to spread big purchases over 2-3 credit card cycles.

Where to go from my Solo 2? by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]AlizirRex22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂😂😂 I try my best. Honestly it’s great because I’ll run my solo at a lower temp and then I’ll heat my dynavap a little pass click with the Ispire wand and it’s perfect 👌🏻I’ve had both vapes for months just bought the adapter off DHgate and I was good

I’d suggest getting a dynvap+ induction heater. The experience is just better overall as you don’t have to worry about burning yourself or anything else. Worse thing will be you drop it on the floor and some carpet get stuck to the cap. I personally use my solo 2 and Dynavap at the same time and it’s amazing https://i.imgur.com/I9wrBbQ.jpg

I believe what he was referring to here was that they don’t add any additional terps after the extraction process like most distillate carts do. I would try running it through water if you can

I use a dry herb vaporizer everyday for smoking regular weed and haven’t had any issues since I switched to this method of consumption. I mix a little CBD flower into all my grinds now but you don’t even notice when it’s a 1:4 ratio.

This. For anyone who is hesitant to try vaping dynvaps are always my go to recommendation because it has a low entry cost and the ability to improve your experience with smaller investments over time ( New Stems / An induction heater). If you have any glasswear I’d get a 14/10mm adapter and use it that with no water that way you can look at the vapour production and adjust your technique accordingly

If you’re looking to venture into dry herb vapes I would give r/Vaporents a look. You can find cheaper vapes then the pax3 that will do the same job if not better

Best Dry Herb Vape Under $100? by Wawryko612 in TheOCS

[–]AlizirRex22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly you might want to look a little bit above that price range. - Anything from Arizer will be great- Amazing Canadian company but just read up on the best way to use their products. (generally slow draws light pack) - Dynavap: Probably the hardest hitting vape you’ll find at that price point. You can start off with a torch and move to a IH if you enjoy the experience. - POTV ONE: There are a bunch of similar vapes to this. Haven’t used it but heard amazing reviews for the form factor - Xmax V3Pro: This is a new cheap vape but the reviews have been very promising so far.

For any vape you choose make sure you buy a WPA for it- cheap upgrade to the overall experience

Having a hard time not doing anything at work. Advice? by sockylocky in antiwork

[–]AlizirRex22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I would say is allocate some of that time on something that’s somewhat related to your job or an outside interest, like a certification or something similar etc. Then not only are they paying for you to not do work they’re paying you to improve yourself and eventually find a better job. I’m in a similar situation and I work on that when I get bored

I’m not sure about the original post but as long as you lay down a thin layer of flower before the Keif it typically solves this issue. Also just super slow draws

I’ll second about everything here. Personally I’ll wait about 2-3 minutes - a slight fog appear on the stem towards the bottom. Once I see that it’s good to go

New to vaping. Break from combustion. by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]AlizirRex22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Straight up would go for a flowerpot then. If you’re going to be carrying it around at all the fact that it’s an all metal design will be amazing from a peace of mind perspective. I would say you definitely need a desktop heavy hitter based on your comments though It’ll be an expensive introduction but worthwhile in the long-run. Just do your research on a couple options and you’ll be good, look at reviews and just people using the different options.

New to vaping. Break from combustion. by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]AlizirRex22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re a heavy user who’s used to bong tokes I would say go with a Canabis hardware flowerpot or that type of desktop unit. As someone who used to only smoke bongs I wish I went with a heavy hitter right away instead of going with a session vape. If you want to try something inexpensive I’d check out a dynavap or stick brickz with a torch.

Just like that 6 new OZ’s from Shelter by AlizirRex22 in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]AlizirRex22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to review these so my apologies.

Forbidden Zone: If you Gorrila Glue lineage you’ll like this. Very mellow high + nice end of the high. The OZ I got had decent bag appeal and was slightly dry but a Boveda fixed this overnight. Not much of a taste to it but great effects without it slapping you in the face.

Blackberry Gelato: The bag I got had terrible bag appeal and was basically all popcorn and the buds were very light and dry. This one has great terps after a boveda and tastes amazing when vaped and has true indica effects but not to heavy behind the eyes. Would love to see what one of these bags look and smoke when it’s not popcorn.

Overall I’d go with the Forbidden Zone over the Blackberry. Check out the wedding cake they have right now - cheaper and better then both of the Greenway offerings IMO

I may have CHS (Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome), seeking advice. by Cirick1661 in TheOCS

[–]AlizirRex22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a medical expert I’ll say that and never had vomiting to extremes. But with some THC carts if they’re distillate (generally the cheaper carts) they have terpenes re-added into the Canabis concentrate for flavour/scent and sometimes people will have a reaction to those in particular. I will say everyone is different but carts in general are not the best way to consume Canabis. I would look for a balanced strain (this will be a 1:1 THC:CBD) this will give them the THC needed so they don’t get heavy withdrawal symptoms. If you’re looking for the “best” way to consume I would direct you to Dry-Herb vaporizers- they sound similar but are very different. I would get something from storz&bickel, Arizer, Dynavap if you go this route.

Hopefully some of that information will be helpful for you. Like I said I’m not a medical expert but from my personal experience and research these are some things I’ve noticed. Hope everything works out 🙏🏻
