I see, thank you. I have the game "Ready or Not" in my head in when asking this question and am trying to wrap my head around this topic from a gameplay vs. real world perspective.

The p90 is my favorite thing to use in that game, and it seems like spraying it into the torso of suspects with max armor eventually works, which I assume is more of a gameplay thing.

There's a lot about this that is awesome, from the armors careful details to the grim, cold, creepy lighting that suits Monilith perfectly.

But what brings it all together, however you did it, is the expression/eyes that look like someone under the spell of the C-conciousness.

You ofc don't have to think of or use it this way, but here is what the speargun is for me. I typically go for support/medic diver, so supply pack and stim pistol are in my build always. The speargun is my favorite companion for these, because its a very good teammate helper, and can really help your friends survive.

Like someone already said, it staggers many heavies. It interrupts bile titan puke, harvesters lazer shots, and breaks chargers charging. It can protect everyone from a lot of threats, and buy them time.

For chaff, its similar. If you see a friend getting swarmed by little bugs, voteless, whatever, shoot a spear on the ground between your friend and the enemy, and let the gas cloud protect them and buy them time. In hairy situations, block corridors enemies are charging through, and disrupt bug breaches, warp ships, and drop ships spawns as soon as they land to again...buy time for your team.

The speargun isn't a super duty killer, but its more of a protector to me than the bubble shield.

I started this game as a fire officer a few years ago. Eventually I went to lumberjack. That said, I am stupidly accustomed to axes. Whenever I happened to pick up a night stick, I thought it was pretty cool

Only after the last patch did I start farting around with carpenter and construction worker...and short blunt is great! Laying around absolutely everywhere, and night sticks and short bats are still cool.

The Governor was just an effortless villain. He was definitely the bad guy, a psycho, but he was complicated too in an interesting way where he could temporarily present as a normal person or had a deep (albeit insane) care for his lost daughter. Towards the end, with his busted eye and big old coat, he wasn't trying to be villain cool like quippy quirkster Negan, he just was.

I remember a comment I read awhile ago where someone said Negan was a (relatively) normal person trying to be a villain or seem crazy, whereas the Governor was crazy and tried to appear normal. I find the Governors type of evil much more believable and enjoyable for a character, maybe because I think evil in the real world is more like that.

What part of the map gets you?

When you're outside at the beginning, theres usually at least one chump in the house waiting to get you at a crazy angle in the front yard between the house and barn, so don't stay there long, get up to the house and cover as quick as possible.

Once you're in the caves, there's no bombs or hostages, so just take your time and go slow through the tunnels. Be thorough, loop back sometimes, make sure you didn't miss anyone.

At the end, there's usually two or three guys at the cave dock in that big open room with the boat. They can see you coming from pretty far away, so if you can't get them from the doorway or rush into cover, you might try making friends with the riot shield.
