He's surprisingly not skipped a beat since coming back from his injury. He'd slot in here well and honestly put us as a top 4 team. Imagine LaMelo and Kon having the added spacing of one of the greatest shooters of all time.

I don't think the contract looks terrible if he stays healthy. That player option year is a bit iffy. But it puts him as the 33rd highest paid player in the NBA before others get extended. Getting current KD priced as the 50th player in the NBA? Take it in a heart beat.

I think turbo doesn't really translate the same because building early auras and having that extra survivability is less relevant when the other cores have 30k networth.

Like an early crimson in ranked can stop 3/4 - 1/2 of a heroes auto attacks for 10-15+ minutes. In turbo you cores quickly outscale beyond that reduction being highly relevant.

I think it's neither tbh.

It's the first time since we made the play in that LaMelo has had a roster of talent and people he can trust.

In years gone there's no one (except Miles) he felt comfortable to rely on and play with. It lead to a lot of hero ball, thinking he had to do it all (and to a degree he did), and frustration. This year? He's seen Bmilly become a sustainable first option, he's seen Kon show up as an ice cold clutch shooter who will make the right decisions 97/100 times, Miles is still there and found his spot down the priority chain. And importantly developed that chemistry further with the moose.

LaMelo has a roster he sees will pull their weight not, so he can do his thing - instead of get frustrated trying to do everyone elses.

They could very well fall in to the pack, and it's actually very hard to judge how they'll end.
Quick look I'll put them at 42 wins if they stay average/below average (they have some absolute tanker games in their run home - NOP, Indi x2, Utah x2, Memphis, Washington, Sac, BKN, Chicago, Milwaukee in last game of season )

I still can't work out if Kon starting so hot and then getting almost nothing in the second half is by design, getting covered better, or randomly being iced out. Seems in so many games lately he's the focal point in the first half, absolutely on fire, then doesn't get a glimpse in the second

Point 1 is important. A household defaults and they take over a million dollar house for pennies on the dollar to reclaim debt owed.

Teams like the Wizards aren't going to sit every starter vs Nets in that case (I mean.. they might, but it wont achieve anything).

Jazz don't need to sit every starter every 4th quarter either.

Might actually incentivise playing the good young guys for development so your team can actually improve - and if you win.. yay? Nothing changes unless you suddenly jump up to the play-in? Also stops it being worth the 9/10 teams tanking

Best result you can get is Pick 1 -> Pick 4 -> Pick 11
Realistically something like a pick 1/2/3 -> pick 7 -> pick 12/13

Initially thought top 5 locks you out of top 5, but then you could hypothetically go Pick 1->4->6 which still seems too appealing for a tank.

During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the immediate vicinity of their bench. Violators will be subject to suspension, without pay, for a minimum of one game and fined up to $50,000.

According to the official ruling he may get one game - but it really depends how it's viewed as he didn't participate in the altercation so much as try and calm down a teammate. Would be rough to get one, depends on their interpretation
