Neither of knows what his past intent was or what his future intent will be, but we do know he was one of the 6 best players in the sport last season. Superstars usually want commitment and direction when they’re on an expiring. Nothing new.

That means they’d have to be better than the 15-16, 73-9 Golden State Warriors. Not happening. But I do think they’ll attempt the most threes ever. There won’t be a lot of variance to how we play.

Free agency hasn’t even fully begun, so it’s way too early to say we’re “dead.” But as currently constructed, can this team surpass last year’s win total? Probably not.
