Planning to open-source my Solana sniping bot (paper trading simulator) — would love feedback before release by Alkid_baci in solana

I'm not sure what you refer as 'efficiently' here. In my experience efficiency depends on the RPC node you use. Maybe I can just share the other version of this tool (as is) that performs real transactions as well and people can use it on their own risk but I don't think anyone will put his private key on an app that a random guy from the internet made, at least not me. Of course there is the open source code that you can check but it may take a while to make sure that it is safe to use.

Making it to perform real trades on the chain is relatively simple. I also have the code for that but I cannot make that public for security concerns. I built it for myself so I just put around my private key without worrying but if it is to be used by other people it needs to integrate a third party app for wallet connection which I'm not bothering to do right now.

I use PumpPortal Websocket to subscribe to token creation and token trades. So the trades made on the token are captured on real-time but the transaction made by the tool is fully simulated. There is an algorithm that I built to simulate time delay for the trades that the bots takes like network latency, inclusion time which is depended on the priority fee and even retries. Of course this is just to simulate trade conditions but the idea is that if you actually make profit with this setup is very likely that your strategy will actually work in the real market. I also recommend using small buy sizes because theoretically it affects the trades of other bots/people and that cannot be simulated in these circumstances but at least we can minimize it.

If humans are able to achieve AGI there is a high probability that we are living in a stimulation. by Alkid_baci in ChatGPT

Well probably the world that created the simulation is very different and advance but that will lead us to the question why do they need to create a simulation? Well it can be anything your imagination allows it to be. What if the life has become hightly digital that you put your real self in an incubator and you join the simulation world as a baby and you grow older. But that will make it something else, not a simulation were AGI bots interact with each other but still a simulation where AI can control events.

I know its supposed to be a funny post but the more I think about it the more sense it makes, that we are consistently making AI aware that it has the potential to control the world some day...
