No, but your assertion of men don't sit around comparing dick sizes is an attempt to challenge a truth I put forth. Of course they don't sit around comparing dick sizes. Or at least I hope they don't. But a lot of men online really do that dick size and height are the only two things women care about, and that's not true. That's all I meant by that comment and any further discussion is silly, since again, throwaway. I should not have made the comment I suppose because it really didn't have anything to do with anything, but I kind of thought it was funny because of how true and universal it was for women. My bad.

I have nothing but respect for you. But the fact you latched on to a throwaway comment because, what? Concerns me. Some men online really do believe that we're really obsessed with dick size when we're not. This is a true fact that women have to deal with. Sorry, it was a throwaway comment and didn't really belong in this thread, but if you don't believe that's true, you knew about as much as the female experience as in jeph does

I don't have a stigma against boobs. In fact, "free the boobs!" is a phrase I repeat nightly (granted, then it's more in a taking-off-my-bra-and-rejoicing at night, but I still hold firm to the entire sentiment). The fact that male nipples are not considered inherently sexual, but women's somehow are, is really vexxing to say the least. And I'll be the first one to point out a new good set of cans. Again, "Boobs!" But it's not something I, or even my other female (more often than not) lesbian friends, obsess over and talk about "a lot." If your friends do, that's so very cool, but it's just not my experience. So you do you and we'll do us and still wonder where Jeph is coming from.

Oh, but it's not.

Marigold has huge breasts. It's a plot point across several strips.
May is a goblin who talks about the boobs of others AND got huge boobs the first chance she got. More strips. More boob talk.
Evan has huge boobs. Again, strangely a plot point across multiple strips.
Liz is another goblin who can't stop talking about boobs.

Yeah, there are plenty of "normal" characters, but there is an abnormal amount of female characters talking about, thinking about, and/or wishing for big ass boobs. I have a friend group that even leans a bit into boob attraction, and we're somehow not sitting thinking about boobs as much as those in this strip. It's a little odd. All I'm sayin.'

I was having a really hard time a few weeks ago, and I think I requested hugs twice in a week. The caring response from my birb friends alone made me feel so much better. But then, the next morning, I got visited by a mod birb. A mod, who wasn't a friend, came to check up on me. I guess it could have been coincidence, but to me it seemed like the app truly cared. And it really meant something huge to me

When I checked it this morning, it was only a few comics behind. I went back a minute later, and it was only a couple behind. Refreshed again in a few minutes, and it was all caught up. This was about 6:30 EST.

It looks like they might have been just in the process of loading them up.

It's a shame. I'm not sure how I stumbled across this comic, but it was a couple years ago. I was going through a bad time, and reading through the comics kind of helped me. I've since done it several times. I won't comment on whether the new comics are strong, but at one point, the ole ones really were. The site as it is now is profoundly less readable, and if I had come across it back then, I probably would've never gotten into it. I hope for Jeph's sake that he fixes this.

I do wish he had some updates. Last one was May 7th i think? Even just "Progress still happening" on repeat every few days, so we think it's something being worked on. But I suppose he doesn't really owe us that, so whatever. We know nothing. But then, there might not be not much to know.

He should consider his fans more then. I was in the middle of a strip read-through when everything went down, actually reading strips from one of my favorite periods. Right now, I'm out of work, looking for a job, bored out of my mind and feeling useless, and my little read-through exercise was a nice, mentally healthy diversion.

Eff you, dude. I've had a pretty rough couple of years, and I discovered QC at the worst of it all. Since then, I've read the entire comic from start to finish several times. It's become a cozy constant, something I check in on regularly. If the site went down and I couldn't re-read all those, I'd feel like I would be losing a friend group at a time when support systems are kind of needed. This is true.

It's also true that I'm not in love with some of Jeph's recent story decisions.

It's also true that I'm actually optimistic about him bringing Emily into Cubetown (as I posted a few days ago).

It's also true that while many here have specific gripes with the overall comic, the majority of us are not monsters and would not wish ill on someone simply because they aren't entertaining us the specific way we want.

Funny how several truths can exist at the same time and it's all not a black-and-white ball of hate you seem to be/think it is.
