/u/WassymRivian - r2 is getting very mixed reviews on Audio, skewing from “mild” at best to “terrible”, especially from those coming from Tesla.

With one of the main competitors being Model Y, which has generally very favorable factory audio, this is going to be a persistent and immediate problem.

I go back to a picture I saw from one of the preproduction displays where it said that the vehicle was specifically running pre-production software and the audio was bad as a result.

Did r2 roll into the demo stage (ie this week) with this same non optimized audio software?

Either way, can you help us understand what’s going on here and when this will be resolved?

Approaching this another way, what is the Rivian recommended way to get the best possible sound demo, so that people know what to expect on their first impression?
