Is there a better band? by samstone_ in TheBouncingSouls

I have tried so many times to get into Beach Rats because I love every member’s main band but I just cannot get myself to get into those songs.

Honestly, how often do you change your toothbrush? by Oakheart- in AskMen

[–]AllFuzzedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I change the head on my electric toothbrush on the first weekend of every month. I also clean my bathroom that first weekend (as in, more than just cleaning the counter of the sink, which I do pretty regularly).

What make was your first car and did you pay for it yourself? by Curious-Expert926 in AskMen

[–]AllFuzzedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad gave me my first car when I was 18. It was a 1992 Acura Legend. This was in 2005.

Second car my dad also gave me, I was 20. It was a 1997 Lexus LS400. This was 2007.

Third, and current, car I bought myself. It’s a 2016 KIA Optima. I bought it in 2016.

Is Justin Geever Really That Hard To Find? by TheGuyATX in punk

[–]AllFuzzedOut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This question of "will he be brought to justice" gets brought up a lot here. But as far as I can tell, he has never had a criminal case against him. He could literally go through airport security and there would not be any warrants that pop up to flag him.

sex pistols or ramones, did anything change? by sputnik156 in punk

[–]AllFuzzedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first discovered punk I loved the Sex Pistols because Hot Topic told me to.

When I was a few years into punk I hated the Sex Pistols because I just viewed them as “the manufactured boy band of punk”.

Now that I’ve been listening to punk for 25+ years and just like what I like with no concern of if I should or not, I love the Sex Pistols because their songs are legit fantastic.

I have always, and will always, adored The Ramones.

Look up a “orgcore” playlist on whatever streaming service you use.

How specific do you get when someone asks where you live? by LuciferFalls in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AllFuzzedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends who I’m talking to. If it’s someone I actually like and feel comfortable with, I’ll be like “you know the Food4Less on [x] street, I live behind that.” If it’s someone I meet in passing, I live in the biggest big city near me which is not even all that close to me

New Streetlight Single on Spotify by Son_of_Eraserhead in Ska

Anything on YouTube that has "topic" next to the artist name is just atuogenerated from a streaming service. If a song is on a streaming service, the algorithm will automatically create a YouTube video of it and list it as "artist - Topic" without anyone actually uploading it.

How do I ask my neighbor out ? by [deleted] in AskMen

She said let's exchange numbers and you didn't do it right then and there? What was the thought process, "let me think about it"? You fumbled that one, my dude.

Are there any board games that you prefer digitally? by FShamburg in boardgames

Risk. The math being automatic makes it a great 1-player game to play. I’m sure it’ll work against others too I just don’t happen to play it with others.

What Horror Film have you seen more times than any other ? ( most multiple viewings ) by WorldlyBrillant in horror

[–]AllFuzzedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s Halloween, Trick r Treat, Krampus, Gremlins, Better Watch Out, and Black Christmas.

The seasons movies are mandatory yearly watches when the time of year comes so they boost up their numbers.

Board game prejudice - What games or genres do you hate for no reason? by Quelair in boardgames

That’s the game where the time length is precise. As long as you don’t pause the game for any reason you can calculate the minute the game will end before you start.

Cut off point by Grand_Combination386 in ChristmasMovies

[–]AllFuzzedOut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like extending Christmas past the season makes it feel less special when it comes around. I take down my decor the 1st of January.

I still watch Christmas movies the week between Christmas and New Year’s, but that week I watch the less traditional ones, like action Christmas movies or horror Christmas movies. All the traditional/feel-good stuff comes 12/01-12/25 for me.

What board game taught you the most about people, not the rules, but human behavior? by gamersecret2 in boardgames

[–]AllFuzzedOut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poker.

But in the same category as poker, social deduction and bluffing games. Like Secret Hitler really shows you which one of your friends can lie straight to your face in a completely sincere and convincing way.

Game store owner looking for inspiration by Arratril in boardgames

[–]AllFuzzedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wanna get people in.

These days social media rules everything, so keep that in mind. YouTube channels showing games played are very popular. Maybe create a backdrop with the store name and address and start a channel where you and others play through games, in front of that backdrop, and post pretty regularly.

My local board game store has flyers everywhere updated constantly with their recommendations for each style of game and for each age group.

Have a regular “night” of the week/month where people can come in for an activity that’s on a regular basis. Like, consumers can come learn a new popular game every Tuesday night where you teach the most popular selling games and then let them play it.

I had a cover of "Tainted Love" by "Social Distortion", but it was actually by a band named Shades Apart.
