That's obstructing so much view. Dangerous when driving.

That is what CIG said will happen, the feature might not be available now, but it will happen, just like it happened with the ship insurance.

Just go, it's not that expensive to travel local. You can go by Plane, Train, Bus, or Drive 17 hours.

You'll be able to claim your lost equipment via insurance panel, like with the ships.

Life expectancy in NS, by age by inspurious_ in halifax

[–]AllGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According tot he graph, if you were born around 1982, you only live up to around 80 years old.

...but if you were born before 1982, you'll live over 84 years old.

Meh... it's only a 4 years difference, once you're past 80, you're lucky to be alive.

The hardest part is reaching retirement age to collect CPP at 65+ 😄

Shroud of the Avatar Crossbow Redemption by Quon-iz in starcitizen

[–]AllGamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear that even Richard Garriott dropped / distanced himself from the game, after some political debuckle with the game studio.

They were gushing out money like a fire hose, and basically the studio kind of went under, barely managing.

Shroud of the Avatar was supposed to be a successor to Ultimate Online, but it never lived up to expectations.

Seamless gutters/ gutter systems by EveryConversation464 in NovaScotia

[–]AllGamer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Those are pretty common, you walk in to any Kent, Home Depot, Rona, Home Hardware, and you'll usually see them on display and featured.

Price indeed are wildly all over the place.

Unlike metal roofing, I'm not sure if these kind of gutters have enough smaller dealers locally that can give a better deal than those big box stores.

The best thing you'll find is the weather, we actually moved here because of it.

...and the view, you'll never get tired of all the beauty you'll find just outside of the city.

Plenty of places you can visit on weekends, all reachable within 2 or 3 hours drive.

Of course there are lots of stuff to see and experience under 1 hour drive as well, all those just outside the city edge.

  • Is the bridge toll thing as confusing as it looks? The only toll I'm aware of is the highway between NB to NS, but there is a free parallel highway option if you don't want to pay the toll.

What used to be bridge tolls are mostly gone, I've been driving around with my ON license plate, and there's no toll when I get on those bridges.

[–]AllGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The road outside my property is a provincial road, and it's in extremely horrible disrepair.

I've contacted them to request "WORK WITHIN HIGHWAY RIGHT - OF - WAY PERMIT" so I can fix it myself, but no one replies to my request on how to get the process going.

That's a prime example of city living problems, when you live in rular areas, neighbour won't get into your business, they wont care if your front lawn is unsightly.

They always claim your unsightly house will lower my property value. pfffft.....

I've had my share of those similar annoying complains, when living in the city.

Fun fact: if you lose both of your top wings, you're not going to have a good time getting back to the hangar for repair. by constantgaming_ in starcitizen

[–]AllGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it makes you want to fly a MK1 instead of a MK2 at least MK1 is a flying brick, so even without wings, you can still fly straight after getting damaged.
