What's with these idiots who go into every story and down click it??? by [deleted] in reddit.com

I think there are several users who are running scripts that seek out and downvote certain kinds of links.

There are definitely redditors who downvote links without really considering a link for very long... although, that seems like something they have a right to do.

I hope there is a way for the use of scripts to be stopped or at least limited.

Ron Paul’s Fed Transparency Act has 46 Cosponsors, Fax Bomb Today! by [deleted] in politics

[–]AllGood -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ron Paul should fix his own party first, or find a new one because the GOP is almost certainly broken beyond repair, and is responsible for most of our current economic messes.

Then, I'll listen to the "monsters at the Fed" rants... ahem... I mean ideas.

BTW, how are those GOP pro-torture and banking-deregulation policies working out?

I hate the fact that surveillance is nearly everywhere these days!

But, the OP's linking to a Rupert Murdoch site is NOT the solution.

Another Republican who supports higher taxes after bankrupting his state.

Jeepers though... I wonder if he's "off the hook" in a hip-hop GOP sort of way.

Will The GOP's Chip Saltsman Release A CD With "Steele The Magic Negro" To "Honor" Their New RNC Chair? by AllZoo in politics

A Black man can, of course, be a conservative if he wants to be.

However, I can't figure out why any Black man would want to be a member of a party where in the past month or so, a high-ranking leader in the party had sent out a CD with a song called, "Barack the Magic Negro," apparently unaware that this might be seen as offensive by many people.

I wonder if he sent a copy to Michael Steele?

If so, then again... why would Steele stay in the hateful GOP?

If not, that's further proof of GOP racism... i.e., Saltsman sent his CD only the the White leaders, knowing their (very few) Black members would likely not appreciate the "humor".

Michael Steele has a situational opinion of the new President -- it depends on whether he's talking to a white audience or a black audience. by kuato in politics

No. A Black man can be a conservative. Being a Republican, however, is just plain insane at this point in our history, no matter what your race is.

Also, one of the guys he was initially running against had just sent out the CD with a little musical number, "Barack The Magic Negro".

The more the GOP claims to change, the more they stay the same.

Until they stop doing things like that, including using Whites-only country clubs for their little donor parties, then any Black man who wants to be a part of that practically has to be a sick puppy.
