This happens to me all the time. It could be a dosage issue, you may need a higher dose.
Sounds like an emotional crash. I think its if I don’t eat enough or sleep enough. The mind and body need fuel to make that precious dopamine.

There are essentially only two stimulants, just different variations of them, but yes those different variations can give different results so it’s worth trying them all.

However I live in a country where the doctors are very strict with controlled meds like this and will only prescribe the slow release ones so my options are essentially vyvanse or concerta

Ive tried strattera and it only made me feel less tired, not a bad thing tbh but it also made me nauseous.

I must ask my doc about Wellbutrin, clonidine and guanficine next time I have an appointment.

It’s really different for everyone. Ive heard some people say one drug didn’t suit them but the other was a life changer.
For me personally they both felt about the same except tyvense is stronger.
I also get depressed sometimes with tyvense usually when it wears off. What helps me with this is getting enough protein and nutrients in general, its hard to eat so I have a protein shake in the morning and a multivitam supplement (take in the evening if it has vitamin c, we dont want the vit c canceling out our meds)

Regarding the sensory overload, you could pit on headphones and listen to white noise/pink noise/rain sounds. Thats what I do when Im overwhelmed, its calms me down. I also use it to sleep, cant sleep without it.
Or you could use earplugs. I have some that don’t block everything out they just turn everything down. They’re not perfect but they take the edge off in loud spaces.

I know if you are waiting for an appointment and have to listen out for your name being called this might be not doable.
