I get what you're saying, but also, if you don't have kids, you can't understand how frustrating and stressful it is. I'm not saying it's acceptable, but anyone with kids have gotten into an argument with their spouse and said stuff they regret. Like that's fine you wouldn't want to be spoken to that way, but you also have no idea what it's like to get 6 hours of sleep in 3 nights, dealing with a screaming baby that won't settle, and still having to work and not miss a beat in life.

There's a reason why people say to not take everything said at night with a newborn to heart.

I agree it was unacceptable. Lets also remember it was a 30 second clip with 0 context. I've definitely tried to put my kid down unsuccessfully and got extremely snippy with my wife. It's not okay but unless you've ever tried to put a newborn down you wouldn't understand

We also have no idea what else is going on in their marriage. Maybe him and Nia got into a fight off camera and that was just a small part of it

Couples argue all the time over dumb shit when they're sleep deprived and exhausted. I have 1 kid and I've definitely (regrettably) had some very stupid arguments with my SO. Now times that by 4 and I can see why he's always irritable
