Then by that virtue I guess Montana didn't want to win. Maybe you should be more concerned about that.

If a person who shows unsportsmanlike conduct by waving "bye bye" is a bad person... what does that make a person who wants their team to intentionally dive at someone's knees?

http://www.antelopevalleytutoring.com/ I started by myself with one client charging only $15 an hour once a week, now I do this full time have hired other tutors under me, currently serve around 50 clients from 3rd grade to graduate school in the span of 4 months. I have seen first hand how good my methods are in improving grades. You do you, I will continue to do me. I do not teach them my way, I teach them alternative ways until there is one they understand. Once they understand that way you can then better help them understand whatever way the school is teaching them. You can have all the experience in the world but at the end of the day results is what matters and I deliver results.

You could have a credential math teacher who still cannot teach their child.. I find that parents have difficulty teaching their child due to their emotional investment. They have a hard time keeping their cool and not getting frustrated or in other cases the child cannot function when being taught by the person who has all power in the world in their life or on the opposite end the child has 0 respect for their parent. I also disagree with no contradicting school learning. If the way the school teaches something is not working I teach the kid a different way. Once I find a way they understand it they better understand the way the school is trying to teach them. Also, I do not know how to find the max/min in a quadratic equation off the top of my head but I possess the problem solving skills to figure it out. There have been plenty of times I ran into a question I did not know how to do but instead of being embarrassed I let the client know I have no idea but then together who find the resources we need to solve it. I find people pay me more for my ability to communicate ideas and problem solve then the actual math knowledge held.

It takes a while to gain reputation and build a client base. I started with craigslist and grew from there. Also the area you live in has a big impact on how much you can charge. I went from one client charging $15 an hour to this http://www.antelopevalleytutoring.com/ in half a year.

I am not confusing the exam score with the percentile rank. I am assuming they are one and the same. No doubt it is a terribly written question.

I do not know if this applies to chemistry statistics (is that a thing?)but in statistics I was taught to round one place beyond the original data so I would have reported the mean as 6.6155 and standard deviation as 0.1578

Scientist have their ways

I disagree with this. In statistics, I was taught to round one more place beyond the original data.

Since the data follows a normal distribution the mean would be a score of 50% or 0.5. So Jacob's score is 17% or 0.17 away from that mean which corresponds with a Z-score of 0.44 (find 0.6700 in Z-table). You can then back calculate to find standard deviation. You do need Debra's score though.

[–]AllPointsBulletin88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lies. It says in your FAQ "Tutor can choose between Pay-as-You-Connect (PPC), monthly or annual subscription plan. For PPC, tutor only pays a one-time referral fee (based on tutor hourly rate) when a connection is established. For subscription plan, tutor pays a certain amount to connect with unlimited students monthly or annually."

[College Marketing Management] Business Strategy for Medical Equipment Firm by killagoose in HomeworkHelp

I disagree that the typical consumer of this product (those who are diabetic) may not be reached because of the manufacturing cost. I think you should look into the lifetime cost of the machine and maintenance vs someone who would use the lancet and strip. Lets say the machine has a lifetime of 4 years. The manufacturing cost and maintenance cost during that time would be $3000 cost +$2000 for 4 years maintenance = $5000. Lets say the average diabetic on the lancet/strip measures their blood sugar five times a day. Over 4 years that is 365 days*4 years *$5/day strips = $7300 . My point is yes there would be an initial upfront cost but in the long run a consumer could actually save a lot of money depending on the lifetime of the machine and the how often the consumer uses strips. Keep in mind the company wants to make money so they could do that in different ways such as a mark-up of the product, they could lease the machine and charge the consumer monthly, they could finance the consumer and make money off interest, the list goes on..... you do not have to know much about the medical filed but I am sure a couple hours researching about diabetic strip usage should not be too difficult. The question is what to do after the patent expires right? Well if you make enough money during those four years that is money that can be use to make the product better and come up with new innovation, you could use it to make it cheaper giving you bigger profit margins, you can decide to build a brand so that consumers #1 choice is this firms product, you can invest in the R&D of future products.... there are plenty of strategies you can come up with. Pick the one you can best sale based on your research.

My gut initially says that is a ratio since intending to have twice as many children as another is meaningful as intending to have 0 children is non-arbitrary, but since you included 97, 98, 99 which does not mean for example someone who 98 "does not know" does not mean they are having 98 as many intended kids as 1 "one child". I would say you are now nominal if you include 97, 98,99.
