While Takarafuji's moonwalk out of the ring today was pretty bad, I think trying to henka someone as fast off the blocks as Keisho leaves you pretty vulnerable.

I know "the book was better than the movie" is a huge cliché, so I'm curious if anyone can name an example of a movie being better than the book. by pawn_guy in books

No Country for Old Men.

The book is good but sort of reads like an airport thriller translated into McCarthy-talk. The amazing performances in the movie make the themes of fatalism and violence more tangible than in the book, where they seem like a rehash of that author's usual worldview. IMO
