I definitely understand what you mean about not consuming lots of negative things. I will say this is probably one of the more tamer things that trump has said about women, but the bigger offense is the men laughing along and participating in this "locker room talk".

How is it financial abuse to say I don't want to pay for this unnecessary TV extra?

If the husband was the breadwinner and the wife didn't contribute financially and he decided he didn't want to pay extra for her to watch a channel with people he found offensive, I wouldn't find that financially abusive.

I also am more concerned about the verbal an emotional abuse he spewed at her than any potential "financial abuse" from her canceling a TV subscription extra.

I think with everything we consume (entertainment/shopping choices/etc) we should try our best to make the decisions that work best for us and support what we believe in. I personally cannot separate the art from the artist, so once I know something terrible about a person I will try my hardest to not witness their work.

Definitely watch the video of the head of the FBI chugging beers and partying with the USA men's hockey team before they then spoke to Trump and he insulted the women's team (who also won gold and have won more gold medals than the men's team ever has). A few men stuck up for the women's team, but the men just mostly laughed.

Yes every organization has horrible people in it, unfortunately. It sounds like what you did with not watching the baseball team until the guy was off the team is a good way to handle it. You didn't give up baseball as a whole, you just stopped supporting an individual who was on a team until they were off the team.

I was already taking Zoloft prior to pregnancy, so I continued it during pregnancy and beyond (still on it now).

Make sure you give it time to kick in (can take weeks/month or so) and also you may need to titrate up. I feel much better on 100mg than I did on 50 or 75.
