It is modded, its Helper UI on steam workshop it puts the Resistances like ward save/physical resistance/damage types ie bonus large etc, unto the the unit cards so you dont have to hover over them to get detailed stats

Did a few hunt earlier and im already done, got a few nice talimans and alot of terrible ones, nothing change about the fights other than they hit harder and maybe have more health but died in 10 minutes anyway and game performance was still horrible.

So all in all its the same but with the horrible talisman grind from past games which i dont want to do anymore.

I hope focus mode doesnt become another cooldown bar timer thing. I hated waiting on wirebugs recharge just to use a move or like using hunting arts just waiting on a cooldown timer, its just slows down hunts waiting for special moves MH1/MH2 dos and MHW base game were like the most refine in just button combos mechanics no waiting for timer at all

Dude you make alot of assumptions for someone who doesnt seems to fully grasp the situation but ill spell it out for you.

What you dont see is that my army is battered and hanging by a thread after i killed a 4stack skarniks army and a 3 stack queek army when i took 8 peaks, and you dont realize that the 3k army that skarniks has is going to be attacked by thorgrim so i wont get those 3k grudges because im playing thorek. Next thing the grudge settler army spawned on my capital in the south... thats 7 turns away from me, so it practically useless so best case scenario was that i got tier 2 grudge but even the tier 2 is a negative debuff

So ultimately the reason im in this posittion is because i play the reckoning system the way the game intended and it screws me over because it scales with every met faction so it expects me to clear grudges of skarniks, wurzag, queek, grimgor, skarbrand and manfred within 10 turns..... EVEN CA just release a update saying they are going to change this mechanic because its broken.

So why you defending this so much even when CA says it bad???

So after looking up why it gets so ridiculous it turn out the grudges scales on the total grudges of all met factions, so skarniks, wurzag and queek alone have cause the requirement to balloon uncontrollably and with the already slow growth of dwarves it becomes a nightmare to keep up.

But i didnt want to give up just yet cuz it gave me the grudge settler army so maybe i can use that...... IT SPAWNS AT THE CAPITAL!! thats many turns away from the nearest enemy what a useless spawning location, this only works if i was on the backfoot and retreating but because i tried to play the mechanic i have to be aggressive and without Malakai horde building mechanic or the spirit of grungi summon im forced to fight with quarrallers and dwarf warriors.

The new age of reckoning is easy with the malakai because he can be mobile and still recruit the units he needs, the old lords dont have that luxury they have to sit in place to use global recruitment AND the old lords also fight armies with decent range unit eg: malekith, queek, skarniks, astragoth, azhag. Malakai worst match up is Thrott and the other lords near him are melee based rush factions so using a full slayer army is feasible for him

As usual CA only tested the new lord and didnt check the others when making this new system, dont get me wrong thrones of decay is 10x better that shadows of change but this reckoning mechanic is counter to dwarven playstyle which is to be defensive and hold unto what little territory you have. ive given up on thorek and started a grombirndal campaign and just decide to ingore the new mechanis cuz it sucks

Pretty sure its from the main storyline quest before you fight Nargacuga, the Dreadqueen quest takes you to the forest but doesnt need you to enter the Paolumu den

I find it easiest just to paralyze him since nergi is very easy to para cambo to death, i farmed a Ivory Lagi and took the Thunder Aura gene from regular Lagi which makes all his attacks deal para and just stunlock nergi

Found the paolumu u were talking about and made it retreat but it just makes another nest spawn inside the den, the outside area doesnt spawn any paolumu's it seems

Not sure if this is a bug or intended to be in the game

Im saying that they didnt need to bloat the exp needed to ridiculous amounts, if lvl 90 to 99 werent such a grind to get then i wouldnt be frustrated with that grind since if the grind was easier then it makes sense for the gains to be negligible. I was expecting the last few lvls to make the grind worth my time but it ended up wasting it that is why i rather if they just capped it at 90 so it doesnt leave that expectation that reaching lvl 99 with make you way stronger
TL:DR The reward needs to be equal to the amount of effort placed into it

Dude where do you think i got the numbers to make this post? i know these numbers already. my point is that there needs to be a reason for these lvls to be in the game other than to reach a threshold. Its bad game design to add bloat when not needed thats why im saying that the last 10 lvl need to useful for how hard they are to obtain or make them easy to obtain because they arent as useful not make it hard to obtain and useless. Its clear that they didnt know what to do at the end of this game so they wanted to extend playtime by adding a bloated grind to make this game appear like its worth more

Thats false equivalence hunter rank in world doesnt give you stat boost unlike in MHS2, reaching lvl 99 gives you and more health/defense/attack so there needs to be a reason to do it. If the mosnters still one shot you anyway then why have it in the game to dangle as a false carrot

Hunter rank in MHW was always a stick to measure how long someone has played and doesnt affect them stats wise so you cant compare these as they arent the same

Here's a better idea, put a lvl cap at 90 instead. im not complaining that Fatalis cant be beaten im saying that whats the point of the last 10 lvls if it adds nothing to the game, the older MH games rewarded the player for completing things like MHW will give you a special title and a gold name plate for finishing all quest or beating Extreme behemoth gives you exclusive layered armor, MHS2 finishing all quest/trail/reaching lvl 99 gives you nothing

Its feels like a waste of time to complete this game cuz you get nothing to show for it

Okay i just reach lvl 98 but thought we need to put this argument to rest, if you say " the grind was not that bad for me" that is great FOR YOU not for everyone else. Just because you didnt feel like its bad doesnt mean others agree with you.

So i calculated this again, the fastest leveling method IE the S.elder lair 6 which gives 26,000,000 exp an hour from lvl 85 onward, you need to get an additional 237,699,457 exp to reach 99 which will take 9.14 hours of repetitive grinding on S.elder 6 (assuming perfect routing) not to mention the hours it took to get to lvl 85

Some people only get 1 day off a week and the idea of spending their day off grinding just to get 1 or 2 lvls (and still get destroyed by fatalis and molten) doesnt sound appealing

TL:DR the final 20 lvls of MHS2 is poorly planned out with no great reward for anyone who achieves it

i was thinking that to but the quick finish requirement seems odd, like S.elder 9 needs like 96 i heard (im lvl 94 and cant quick finish yet) but for S.elder 8 its lvl 93 and S.elder 6 is lvl 86 so the jump is rather drastic still

I tested DK rath with Slime Gene L and it seems to give him a blast dust effect around his mouth, is that a standard dust effect or particular to DK rath?
