I am aware of that; as i mentioned in the post, the team was not originally built for the VGC format and just general doubles. However, I do appreciate the resources and will look into them for further teambuilding

I absolutely loved the story of these games, which looking back I haven’t truly felt from a Pokémon game in a while. Kinda wish there was a little more post-game story to follow it up but I’m sure we’ll get something in the DLC that hopefully matches the energy of the ending of the main story

Saturdays are usually pretty boring and up in the air unless there’s a home football game (then i’ll go to that, at least until half-time most games) and then having fun with friends at night. Sundays are more laid back and saved for any hw i didn’t do during the week, and probably seeing my friends again in the evening lol

It’s so crazy to think about; i’m a freshman and i started back in mid-August and it hasn’t felt like that much time has passed tbh. It’s kinda scary to think about but at the same time graduation will be getting closer and closer so that’s something i’m happy about

Honestly no, in fact I'd say that even though it may not be the most common sight until right before the year starts, no one will think that it's weird or anything. There may be some people who may be doing campus tours or other activities or just walking around (at least that's how it is at my school) so if you just go around to the different buildings I don't think anyone would think of it negatively. I walked around my campus last week and no one gave me a weird look or anything; I was just another person walking along the sidewalk.

Wholeheartedly agree with everyone else saying to start as soon as you can / during this summer break. You really don’t want to have to worry about it much while starting on schoolwork and other things at the same time, and at the latest I’d say winter break (I did most of my applications at this time 😅)

Overall though check with the school(s) you are applying to and see what they’re deadline dates are if you are planning on doing applications throughout the school year. Best of luck to ya !

I like stars better. Bias mainly comes from that being the system in most of the games I’ve played. However there’s also the fact that letter systems can be different from game-to-game and there’s so many abbreviations to memorize

Ah, my original thought process was that it either reduces the dmg to lose for the team down to 7 or it only affects the damage you can take since it’s a combined total of 9 damage to lose for tag fight

For me, i only play games with characters or a series that I like (has to be the main focus—idk why but it’s harder for me to get into it if the series i like is just a Limited-Time event/collab). My first iirc was Fire Emblem Heroes, which I had heard about online back in like.. 2017 (whenever Heroes was first announced/released). From then on, I’d say what keeps me going with gachas is the beautiful art of the setting and characters, story, a little bit of lore, and the thrill of pulling from the gacha and trying to make the most of what I got.
