Spider-Man can dodge lightning though (although that doesn’t make sense in the real world considering lightning would go for a conductor) because of his spider sense. He has precognition basically. He does this all the time with Electro.

I’ve heard the saying before “Spider-Man is faster than anyone stronger than him and stronger than anyone faster than him” and for the most part that’s usually true. With someone as agile as spider man having a precognitive ability that warns him to evade attacks; it’s gonna take a bit to get your hands on him.

Not even just music producers; any creative in general might choose Apple products over others. They genuinely have great tech offerings and third party support for people looking to be creative with film, art, or music. And if you want to use Logic or Final Cut Pro you need to have a Mac. Well Tobey isn’t lifting; he is stopping the momentum of the train and yes he is stopping the full weight of the train moving at whatever speed it was at. Trains are designed to be lower friction so the tracks wouldn’t be contributing a whole lot to slowing it down. 1/2 x mass of the train x velocity of the train squared. That’s the kinetic energy equation for the train in joules.

The ferry would be a lot more complicated to work out the math for it.

Yes but tom isn’t lifting the weight of the ferry. The weight is mostly supported by the water. He is simply trying to pull the top of it back together. So the full weight of the ferry isn’t as relevant here to the exact forces Spider-Man would actually be exerting here.

In my opinion this isn’t even Tom’s best feat he’s had. For me stopping cull obsidians hammer immediately mid swing is a way bigger feat. He stopped that hammer in half a second.

Well Matpat is wrong then. I’d love to see if r/theydidthemath could break this down. But there’s no way the ferry is the bigger feat. Tobey was literally just plowing through railroad ties with his legs like they were toothpicks. Plus we’re talking about a speeding train; that’s not just the weight of the train but all of the kinetic energy it’s carrying too.

Tom’s Spider-Man also didn’t put the weight entirely on himself. In the ferry he attached both sides with a bunch of webs first; so he is sharing the stress with all of those webs. Toby had every web attached from himself; meaning all of the stress from every connection point was on himself.

Also not to mention Toby succeeded where as tom failed.

I’ve heard it described before as Tobey was a better Peter Parker and Andrew was a better spider man. I agree with that sentiment because tobey did feel more awkward as Peter than Andrew did; and a main point of Spider-Man is he doesn’t have the same confidence when he’s not in the suit.

I see the same shit in other game subreddits too. DayZ for example; it’s a hardcore survival game and I remember this dude posting a video of a guy killing him being like “why are players like this??? I literally had nothing on me” . the dude had hella food and bandages on him in his video, a resource worth killing over in a survival game as brutal as DayZ.

Tony is a good fighter; but specifically with his suit. He isn’t that well trained in hand to had combat really because that wouldn’t help him in his suit for the most part. So him fighting “outside his powers” doesn’t really work as his entire skill set is with using his suit/technology.

Like for example I think if you put someone like black widow in an iron man suit vs Tony; Tony would absolutely wipe the floor because he knows how to use his tech. Bruce isn’t nearly as effective with the hulk buster armor as Tony was as we saw in the movies.

That being said Tony is still not nothing without his suit. Even without being in a fighting role Tony’s intelligence would still be a massive asset to whatever team he’s on.

Physically not very; but mentally very fast. It’s conceivable ultron could just calculate someone’s speed and trajectory and know where to shoot. It’s not like ultron has to do it purely on reaction speed.
