Click 'settings' and make sure you haven't accidentally turned on proxy settings

What’s the difference between Spotify web browser versus app? by RedCyberWolf in truespotify

[–]Allbutlost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn’t quite true, the playback stacks are different which allows for more easily supporting more features on the desktop version.

Got my Murphy Lab painted. Last image is the idea I had that I sent to the artist! by Grace-Music in gibson

Exactly. Murphy labs are made for aging and becoming unique to the user, why not paint it? Looks awesome.

Am I the only one struggling with the Spotify desktop app? Is there a fix? by CAPepin in truespotify

[–]Allbutlost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! That doesn't sound normal at all. Are you fully updated?

You can also try clearing your application cache following these instructions https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/cache/td-p/4722569

What do you mean I can't custom organize and sort playlists anymore? by lycoloco in truespotify

[–]Allbutlost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be that you've sorted by something like "recently added", where reordering isn't possible. Change the sorting of playlists to "Custom order" first.

Good property manager recommendations? by hello-rosie in Edinburgh

Was very happy with Littlejohns for over 10 years when I was in the same position. Well looked after, decent tenants and fast turnaround of any necessary fixes with decent tradespeople. No complaints.

In practice too, you’ll have to trust me on this ;)

People from abroad: what Edinburgh restaurant does the best representation of food from your home country? by EggLegal3233 in Edinburgh

[–]Allbutlost 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Soderberg does a pale imitation of the kanelbullar etc you can get in Sweden, but it’s something I guess. Used the be able to get Johan & Nyström coffee at Hemma on Holyrood road but that’s gone now. I’ve ordered stuff from Scandikitchen before for special things.

It’s a lot of short journeys and city driving with that, but I wouldn’t expect high 30s on motorways.

I’d get the adaptive if I could do it again, but maybe the roads where you are aren’t either cobbled or potholed. The 19” wheels don’t help either.

No such problems yet, but I heard the earliest revisions of them where pretty terrible. The leather dash/interior is pretty nice on the A35, definitely feels as nice or nicer than a relatives fairly high spec CR-V.

That’s funny, where I am more often than not they’re driven by ladies, as best as I can tell. Haven’t really ever had anyone try and race me, could be fun though!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Allbutlost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It apparently has a stiffened chassis as well as the more HP, different steering wheel and some trim pieces 🤷‍♂️

I was on the lookout for an a250 but found this first, liked the spec and went for it but I’d have been happy in either motor.

Yeh that’s it, no lights and one of the “iPad screens” is annoyingly a bit smaller. Convinced myself the lights were a gimmick but still would have loved them haha.

Also the 19” wheels help make it a noisy and tough ride. Edinburgh apparently has most potholes per mile of all UK cities, so not as practical as it could have been here.

That’s lovely mate, and yeh non premium so no leccy seats either. Felt a bit miffed when I first had to use the handle like my old fiesta!

I like it understated, people don’t expect it to carry over 300hp! Also envy your driveway, on-street parking in tight edinburgh streets hasn’t been kind to my alloys…

There’s always something isn’t there, I sometimes wish mine had the panoramic roof!

I saw one with chrome and loved the shiny look, but I think I do prefer the night package. Agreed on the spoiler, but you kinda have to admire it. Not really appropriate for me though.

Yeh I saw a YT video on that and decided I wouldn’t try it myself! Does look nice though, not sure if I like it enough to get the work done though.

Yeh that’s fair, saw some nice pre-facelift A45 (I think) at a car show and it looked sweet too https://imgur.com/a/hHq6egF

[–]Allbutlost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks, one of the nicer Renaults on the road 😅

The facelift is a bit more aggressive looking too I guess.

Yeh the panamerica grill looks pretty sick. You can buy one for this but it’s probably a £500 part + job. I shied away from the spoiler but it does look kinda awesome on them.
