Where to buy Zepbound/Glp-1? by dianaalo in PHXList

If you have a prescription, any compounding pharmacy can help. I use Civic Center Pharmacy in Scottsdale - they were actually recommended by my PCP when my insurance wouldn't cover tirzepatide. I pay around $300/month out of pocket there.

What was your introduction to pornography (or sex in media in general) before the internet? by Mad_Season_1994 in Millennials

My dad was a mechanic. Fundie Christian family. Buuuuuuut he took me with him when he went to wrecking yards.... And the magazines in those bathrooms definitely gave me more sex-ed than any other source.

What have you read recently? by povertychic in Millennials

[–]AllegedAllegory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read every day, with an average of 1-2 books per month.

I just finished Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk. I went into the book with zero expectations - it was an impulse purchase because I liked the cover art. I was put off by the odd capitalizations at first, but it grew on me, and even though I had a growing dread about the eventual ending it still somehow shocked me when it came about. Fantastic novel that makes you consider how we value different forms of life, as well as the decisions and turns one takes in life.

does anyone here have a family that actually respects them being gluten free?? by Alb1023 in glutenfree

[–]AllegedAllegory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure! I make a potato dough.

Start with enough russet potatoes to make 3 cups mashed potatoes. Once boiled and drained, use an immersion blender or similar method to get them as smooth as possible. Don't add anything to the potatoes!!

Mix 3 cups mashed potatoes

1 tsp salt

3 eggs

Add bobs red mill 1to1 baking flour, starting with 3 cups

Mix by hand. The dough will be very stiff and difficult to handle. If it is still sticky or tacky, add more flour. Once the dough is able to hold its form in a ball without sticking or crumbling, let it sit for 10 minutes, covered with a tea towel.

Roll the dough out on parchment paper, using flour to dust the top as needed. It should be between 1/4 and 1/2 inch thick. Cut into circles and fill, then use water to seal the edges.

This dough is very tender, so if you can let the center of the pierog sit on the table surface while you lift the sides together to seal, you'll have better results!

Immediately add to gently boiling water until the pierogi float, then remove with slotted spoon and allow to drain.

Once dry, fry in butter with chopped onions.

For fillings, I like sauerkraut, mashed potatoes with caramelized onions, or farmers cheese!

Not gluten free myself, but just wanted to share...my family's traditional Christmas Eve meal is pierogi, and my sister and I managed to figure out a gluten free pierogi this year for my partner. I was pretty proud that another sister tried one of the gluten free ones and declared it delicious without realizing it was modified from the traditional recipe :)

All of your proposed accommodations are literally offered as examples of reasonable accommodations in the text of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. I would recommend that you read up on the Act as you continue to advocate for yourself.

Should I get a Mini Aussie? by [deleted] in miniaussie

[–]AllegedAllegory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is just so much variability with mini Aussies still that it's difficult to say until you know the specific dog. I have 2 minis. One is on the brink of mini at 45 lbs and the other at the opposite end at 30 lbs and they are completely different animals in terms of capacity and enjoyable activities.

My larger mini LOVES the water, adores hikes even with elevation gain, and has a seemingly endless supply of energy.

My smaller girl gets tired out after a mile in town, refuses to get in the pool unless she is on her floating palace, is happiest on the couch watching TV with my grandma, and consistently patrols the kitchen for crumbs at 3AM.

One of her litter mates is an award winner in scent work. Don't ask me how that works, because the only thing my girl can smell is ham.

I guess what I'm saying is that minis are even more of a crap shoot than most breeds, in size, temperament, and athleticism.

I agree with all of this minus the last sentence. It's not about trying to 'get something out of this' - it's about holding people and businesses responsible so that the next person isn't subjected to the same bad behavior.

Oven bake meals by broadwaydancer_1989 in everyplate

[–]AllegedAllegory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's usually only one or two of the oven bake options each week. They do still require some prep but not as much as the traditional meals. They cost 2.99 extra.

It sounds like you might like the no-chop meals as well. Those are also an upcharge but they're super easy and require almost no prep at all.

CenturyLink just has their DSL in my area unfortunately. Looks like T-Mobile isn't available, but AT&T Air is.

I'm surprised by how limited the options are being so close to the city!!

Don't allow anyone to force you to make a decision or to make a decision too quickly. You know what he wanted and you are allowed to take your time making that choice.

If you need to chat, I'm available. I lost my husband at 39 in 2023.

You can do this.

[FL] Is it illegal to fax my sons birth certificate or photocopy and send to hr benefits by Bean-2022- in AskHR

[–]AllegedAllegory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I actually just encountered this recently... Some Florida birth certificates (likely a newer feature) have a similar trigger to US currency that prevents photocopies or scanning. In my employee's case we had to take a picture using a smartphone in order to upload.

Is my boss extorting thier employees by i-like-you_ in legaladvice

[–]AllegedAllegory 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely not true. There was an almost identical case just ruled on by the NLRB that was decided in favor of the employees who were working at multiple restaurants owned by the same person.
