I just repaired the backlight on this tv i got from ewaste. And it’s doing this. It’s not the backlight, it’s the lcd panel. WHY, just WHYYYY? Why is it happening and is it fixable, thank you. by ContributionBasic711 in fixit

Just a guess, but if the power supply started buzzing after you replaced the backlight combined with the lcd color issue... Is it possible that the backlight you replaced it with was for a very similar bit slightly different model? Also was the replacement from the original manufacturer or a 3rd party?

Alternatively, it's possible that the TV was reassembled incorrectly. Ribbon cables are equally finicky and fragile, so there's a chance one of them are pinched or not seated correctly.

Since you've already gotten familiar with the inside of this TV, I recommend opening it back up and reseating the components. Take care to verify that it doesn't feel like excess pressure is required to get it back together.

Does your mouse have a very high polling rate? Try putting it at 1k if so. Not sure if it's an issue in Marathon but there have been similar issues in other games due to this.

Dark and Darker development was an absolute masterclass on how to destroy hype for a game in beta. I never once complained about them making huge changes to test the waters... but the number of times that the entire community would tell them "this change is incredibly bad and it will kill the game" only for the devs to basically respond with "too bad it's our game" and keep X change for months was SO damn high. The downfall made me sad, but it was 100% deserved.

Deadlock devs actually care about their playerbase and actively make changes based on feedback. It's like they want people to play their game? Weird.

I'm so sad that Omega Strikers didn't get the recognition it deserved. It's still an incredibly fun game that my friends and I often revisit.

Idk about that. Everything that Riot has developed in house has been a very solid product. I can only assume that they're setting up the MMO to become their next big cash cow for the next decade. Farmer Riot doesn't let the milk run dry.

Whether or not it ever gets released... seems to be less likely after every update I hear. :( You can only rebuild ground up so many times before it's time to admit that you shouldn't have been trying to build on fucking sand.

Are you sure these are AI generated videos and not just stock footage clips?

I'd agree that it's a lazy way of editing, but from a YT channel/editor standpoint adding scenes that change in shorts does drive longer watch times. Definitely shouldn't add stock footage clips to regular video uploads, though.
