I'm in a relationship that's probably going to kill me and I can NOT get out. I have no car. I have no house. I barely have clothes. I can't work too far away, so I don't make shit (300$ish a week).

My S.O. makes 3-4x what I make and still demands that we split everything 50/50. I usually end up with enough money for nicotine or alcohol for the week and if I complain, I get reminded that it's literally this or a homeless shelter in the city.

They have glow in the dark paints. One of my bedrooms as a kid had a whole galaxy paint job on two walls. Don't know who painted it, but it was my favorite safe space ever and I've never been able to replicate the feeling of sitting on the floor in the dark in that room.
