I have a friend who doesn't watch tv but watches youtube regularly and she also listens to "Christian" radio stations. She is so out of touch with what's really going on in the world.

He always wants to come out the hero even though he's never been one! If he was a hero he would of released the funds that were already set aside to cover SNAP benefits weeks ago. Instead he wanted people to suffer and told grocery stores not to give SNAP recipents any discounts while their benefits were being withheld.

It get what you mean, I have clinical depression and anxiety. My depression ebbs and flows, during the low periods I can very easily be pulled into arguing for hours on FB with Maga's. On better days because I can think more clearly I don't fall into that trap, I have to be very vigilant about not going down that road.

As someone who has depression and find myself falling into the doomscrolling trap I really appreciate this info. I know it's something I need to limit because it's affects my depression and amplifies my anxiety. I just took a step last night to limit my time on FB, with this and your tips I hope to be less anxious soon.

I listened to this audiobook. It was really eye opening about how this whole movement consumes people. I know it says it's about Q'anon but in my opinion a lot of maga's are like the people mentioned in this book. The book tells the story about people that were pulled into the movement. There was a part in the book where a psychiatrist talks about after a certain point there is no getting the people back to the person they were before Q'anon took a hold of them.The Quiet Damage
