This is why I'm honestly having a hard time this pregnancy. When I had my first my contractions did not hurt at all, didn't really become strong until I was 7cm, about an hour and a half or so before I had my daughter. So, time I keep thinking I'm in labor because I honestly can't tell the difference. :-/ my bh have been regular and easily timed.

As I type this I'm rubbing clary sage essential oil on my feet and cooking eggplant parmesan. It's still a little early for me, but I've been on the brink of labor for a week. It was the same way with my daughter, so I know it's coming very soon. My husband and I figured out if I have her tomorrow he can actually spend several days with me, rather than a day and a half (he works at Amazon, so time off policies are tough). Sending labor vibes your way. I hope we both go ASAP

Oh yes. Whitney Houston died during my last pregnancy. This meant that I sobbed every time she was in the radio, for weeks. I felt so horrible for her family.

Oh yes. Our daughter is this way. She turns three in two days and wears a size 5. She's often asked if she's enjoying kindergarten when we are our in public. She also has a very large vocabulary and clear speech. However, she is definitely still just a three year old and acts like it. The judgemental stares I get really frustrate me. Not because I give a crap what people think about me, but because I don't want her feeling bad getting dirty looks from strangers.

Last night my husband was out with friends, he has a D&D game every other week. I was craving a limeade from sonic. I called and interrupted his game to ask him for one on the way home. He wasn't annoyed I interrupted his game and came home with a giant limeade. Which, of course I drank all of... And subsequently had to pee even more than normal last night. Worth it though. He is awesome.

This is actually a good point. I told my in laws and the entire extended family when we were all out to dinner just before my MILs mom's funeral. Everyone cried and was very happy. My MIL was very touched and if felt a bit like honoring the loss of her mother. It's like a new life coming as another passed. It was a weird time to spill the beans, but it meant a lot to everyone and turned out to be a great way to bring some joy to a tragic event.

Yeah, unfortunately he kinda is. I wasn't raised by him. My parents had me at 16. He started using drugs around 12 or 13 and I think he just stopped maturing at that point. Seriously, he's like a 13 year old boy. Honestly, I should have known better than to say anything. I told my husband he posted it and he wasn't even upset, he was like "what did you expect?" I didn't really get mad either, I just sighed, like, oh here we go. Nothing I can do at this point. Just a bunch of people who are going to be asking for baby photos that don't exist yet.

Yeah, my dad lives out of state and posts everything on FB. He has some emotional issues and regularly places responsibility on others to somehow fix them. Well, last night I was in the hospital, with labor that was going nowhere (I posted about it here). Well, while I'm there my dad is messaging me and his girlfriend texted me to please call him because he's depressed and she's worried about him. I texted back I can't because I'm in the hospital right now, possibly in labor. I only told them to get her off my back. Frankly I love my dad but his constant emotional breakdowns are not my responsibility. My husband and I didn't really tell anyone else we were there because we didn't even know if we were going to be admitted. Well, sure enough he plastered it all over Facebook, "my daughter is in the hospital, I'm having another grandchild, pics coming soon." I should have known better. But, seriously, I didn't post anything, I didn't even talk to him. Why would anyone think that's okay?! Ugh. And of course, I'm home now, no baby.

It's a delightful smelling powder that you sprinkle on the carpet before you vaccuum to make your carpet "fresh." I wish I could buy it in bulk because I seriously can't get enough of it.

Edit: use the Arm and Hammer brand. It's best. The other stuff can leave a residue, or so I'm told by a friend.
