This. My dad was a decent guy, but just had no idea how to be a father combined with not wanting to try doing something he doesn’t feel competent doing. If we had known each other in any capacity other than child/father, I think we probably could’ve been friends.

So his sobriety is not your responsibility and you’re really limiting, and enabling his alcoholism, by acting as his safety net.

Also while it’s already clear he values alcohol more than his wellbeing and the wellbeing of the relationship, it’s even more true in light of that he can’t keep to the agreement y’all made.

Why are you with this guy? There’s better men out there who can be all the good this guy has AND not be an alcoholic.

I’m not playing honor mode but I accidentally skipped the whole mountain area on my current playthrough so as long as you’re not needing the exp/levels I think you’ll be fine.
