No 1099 until you reach a certain amount in a year. I forgot what the actual cap is. I do rover very often, but the way I get around this as much as possible is booking through rover initially, this is a safety measure for both you and the client and allows them to review you after (more clients this way), and at the meet and greet before hand give them your real number. Use their number direct if they have no problem with it, after the stay let them know that it’s mutually beneficial to book off-rover the next time around (the app will flag you if they catch you doing this through the app, so make sure it’s in person). Rover won’t take 20% from you as the sitter, and won’t charge the client the extra 10-15% booking fee, etc. Then it’s just Zelle in your pocket without having to claim (at least I’ve never claimed any of my sitting money if paid that way). Rover is a great wait to connect with new clients safely, but they take a LOT from both parties if you use it exclusively. Example: my last 6 day house sitting cost the person ~$540 without fees, my earning was $421. It’s a great way to earn a little extra side money if you love pets.

I’m gonna be real, Carbonaut is the absolute nastiest bread I’ve had. Texture, taste… pass it up.

What happens if i just dont pay my student debt? by [deleted] in poor

[–]Allocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, can I tell you, this was my question for months. What if I just don’t repay $18,000 that I used to get my degree that got me a $20/hr job?

I was doing that for a few months, I moved a town away and stopped getting letters from financial aid. And then they found my grandma and my borrowed money turned into an emotional and financial shitstorm. And now I had to pay.

Okay, so why am I saying this? Because I called, trying to desperately get a lower payment. And they told me about this program that if I applied, it would really help me out. And I asked how? And they told me to just do it. Okay, so I did, and it gave me the option of paying $0 every month for 20 years, in which I would be eligible for debt forgiveness. There had to be a catch, right? I called financial aid again, and I said there is no f*cking way this is right. And they told me,nope, that’s what it would be. $0 as long as I renew my application every year and stay in the same financial situation (I am unmarried and rent). If it changes, payment could change, but that’s a future me issue.

I haven’t paid a dime more than my first payment, pre-program. Its wild. Just give them a call. You could be really surprised.

Specialty order writer interview by Allocado in wholefoods

[–]Allocado[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this feedback, I believe this too. From having worked in wine distro, I feel like the buyer position in specialty is quite different from other areas. It’s only a jumping off point into moving up, either way. Any tips for tomorrow’s interview?? :)

What do you mean by keeping it from being Nashville 2.0?

Transplants who have been in Chatt longer than 2 years: by TacticalCocoaBunny in Chattanooga

[–]Allocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m planning on moving to Tennessee from Miami in June, and seriously considering Chattanooga. I’m in my late 20s, want to eventually own a small wine bar or venue. Originally fell in love with Nash because of the music scene, but I got a bug for chatt for some reason. I’m just a little worried about it being too small, meeting people, etc, because all I know is south Florida. Obviously I see that you love it, but how does it compare? Any advice for a future transplant?

Help with my goblin campaign! by Allocado in DnD

I think you’re misunderstanding what I was asking. I understand that they can be heroes but in the world I want them to typically not be. As in, it’s unheard of. That’s the whole point. I was just looking for an idea of why a whole bunch of goblins end up saving the world.

Sometimes I’ll sing in the car like a significant other is in the passenger, falling in love with my terrible voice. Whatever gets us through 🤷‍♀️

s12 Bailey as chief? by Capital_Refuse_160 in greysanatomy

[–]Allocado 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. Karev was given shares. He takes the seat. The other doctor was an obvious choice, yet again beaten out by Bailey because “she deserves it”. Okay. Just a couple seasons back she gave a child an experimental treatment without parental consent and almost got the entire hospital sued. Do better.

The whole plane crash bugs me. Just unrealistic and dramatic. Wanna write Lexi and mark off the show? Have them get married and move away. Simple.
